first went to celibre exactly a year ago, seeking laser treatment for acne. My skin was never terrible, but I had constant moderate acne and was sick of dealing with it.\r \r The first laser they put me on (I don't remember the name) made my skin MUCH WORSE than it had EVER been before. Seriously, my skin was disgusting. The skin on my cheeks was not even visible because they were covered in deep cystic blemishes.\r \r After three treatments with this laser they told me that I was in the "5%" of people who would not get results, so they began ALA treatments with me. The ALA treatments cleared up the mess that the first laser had made (over the period of two miserable months) but left awful scars behind. They helped me have less acne and red scars. The program is not completely over yet, but has worked pretty good. I hope my skin clears up more over the next 6 months. They were very nice and welcoming and the lasers worked for me. Pros: good results, good location more

My goal was to receive the best treatment for reducing or softening frown lines and chin lines to approve my appearance. The teaching done by Lori in the Torrance office was one of the best parts of the experience. The best procedure, timetable, charges and expectations was very clearly communicated to me. Because of this very clear communication, I was pleased with the results after the treatment. I felt very comfortable at Celibre and will be returning. Botox for a Frozen Face 1/19/2010

I am being treated at Celibre for wrinkles and skin texture. I have had Botox and am currently getting laser peels. I wanted a frozen face (the more the better!) with Botox and I got it. Lori, the nurse, was fantastic. I never felt uncomfortable, scared or hesitant because she explained everything well in advance. What I thought was much different than in my past experience with other medical offices was that they took the time to really listen to me. I felt like they really know what I needed and then were able to help me with my issues. Pros: They listened. more

I visited to improve the fine lines around my mouth. I ended up being injected with Restylane around the mouth, both for the lines above the upper lip and for an area at the side of my mouth that was turning down a bit (pouting look). I was extremely pleased with the area at the corners of the mouth because I did not even know that look could be improved with injections. I was a little more concerned with the lip area because I had slight lumpiness for a week or two after the procedure. It looks fine now but it would have been better if I was forewarned on that. Four weeks after the treatment I was happy with the results and would recommend Celibre based on the experience. Pros: Good results Cons: was in need of additional explanation more

My dermatologist actually referred me to Celibre. He was using an IPL for my Acne Rosacea and dry skin and I was not improving. I did not get my hopes up because I have tried a lot of treatments. My skin always looks chapped and nothing has been able to improve it. What I liked about the approach was that Lori, my nurse, did not start me on the laser treatments until we went over everything I was using on my face first to determine if something could be making the dryness worse. I was using a lot of products and we eliminated a few of them before starting the laser treatments. Three months later, I am happy to say that my skin has improved by leaps and bounds. The dryness and cracking is gone (maybe because of both the products I eliminated and the lasers) and my skin looks much fresher and younger with no irritation. I am sticking to a maintenance program of laser treatments every couple months to keep my skin looking the way it is now and I would recommend that to others with Acne Rosacea. Pros: Not just lasers, but product evaluation as well more

I went to Celibre the first time I tried Botox. I didn't know what to expect because it was my first time, but Michelle the nurse that treated me was very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to share her knowledge and experience and I liked that. She helped to get rid of the anxiety I had. I was worried about the lines around my eyes on the sides and after the treatment they were gone. I will be visiting again soon. I am a patient at Celibre Medical receiving Juvederm injections. I went to Celibre for the lines on the side of my nose. They injected me with Restylane but I did not think the results were good. I was already scheduled for a checkup after 2 weeks and when I went back I asked the nurse what she thought. She agreed with me that the results were not very good and agreed to replace the Restylane with Juvederm to try and get better results. This is why I am writing and rating Celibre with a 4 stars. They worked with me and replaced the Restylane because they also saw a lack of results with the intial injection. Pros: Willing to redo the work. more

I had acne laser treatments at Celibre. The lasers worked for me but unpredictability always factors in. The staff were kind and not trying to sell me more treatments all the time, which was good. They also helped me with expectations that matched the treatments. The only negative was that it was more than I expected to pay.
