Best

My family and I royally enjoyed ourselves at the park and also at Hotel Breakers. We loved the feeling of the place with all the old pics on the walls. Our experience in August...

Worst

For about 20 years I make an annual trip and this was the worst one ever. I was there in the middle of the week, and it is the 2nd year in a row that they don't have Top Thrill D...

AMAZING! 7/17/2003

TOP THRILL RULES! Best coaster ever! Well worth a long line! Only complaint is that it breaks down way too much, but in the end 4 hours of waiting can be worth it! I just returned from a CP trip two days ago and I can hardly wait until I return! (MF and WT (Wicked Twister) are also EXCELLENT rides!) Pros: coasters, good food, staff Cons: expensive food more

Best Park In USA 7/17/2003

I grew up in Detroit so I have been to Cedar Point a million times. Now that I am living on the East Coast, I have found that there is NO park that can come close to comparing to Cedar Point. Kings Dominion trys, but the Point is just the best out there. The roller coasters are the tallest, fastest, and best - period. I feet so sorry for all of those that don't have the opportunity to experience a real amusement park because they are stuck on one of the coasts. To all of you who aren't fortunate enough to live 1 1/2 hours away from the Point, believe me, it's wortht he trip if you are a lover of coaster like me. Pros: everything Cons: lines, but that's how, it is when you are, the best more

Just the best! 7/17/2003

You won't regret taking a trip to Sandusky, Ohio, to visit Cedar Point. There are rides, thrills, shows, and water fun for everyone in the family from 1 to 101. Teens will love the coasts, grandparents the shows and vintage merry-go-rounds, young kids the Camp Snoopy area, and parents will love it all! It's affordable and fun! Don't miss all the other great things to do in the area--day trips to the Lake Erie Islands, a visit to Marblehead lighthouse, and Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, great sports teams, shopping, and culture are just an hour away. Pros: Affordable, Thrills, Family-oriented more

THE POINT RULES 7/16/2003

Living currently in Florida I am frequently asked about the various theme parks through out the state as to which one is the best. I tell them none of them come close to Cedar Point on the lake in Sandusky Ohio. I have been to parks all over the eastern US and Cedar Point blows them all away. If you love to ride coasters their is no better place. Several people have taken me up on my statement and visited the Point and all have agreed that it is something else Pros: Variety of rides, Food, Location Cons: Crowded more

The Best Place Ever! 7/16/2003

I live in Charleston, West Virginia, and I have visited Cedar Point numerous times with friends and family. This is, by far, my favorite amusement park. But, if you are afraid of heights or speed, this might not interest you. There are plenty of high-speed, thrilling rides at Cedar Point, and I would refer anyone of all ages to visit and enjoy! more

AWESOME! 7/16/2003

Cedar Point is AWESOME! The rides are GREAT! I am a roller coaster fan and I LOVE Cedar Point. The millenium force was the worlds tallest roller coaster but now the dragster is number one. Millenium force is awesome! The lines may be long for these rides, so if you go early and get a hand stamp that says a time, you can go back and jump into the front of the line for that time and ride the ride and get off in less than 10 minutes! There is also some slower rides, or as I call them ""mom rides"". There is Camp Snoopy for the little ones, games, and this ride where you can race horses! Cedar Point is with out a doubt the best asmument park for the family on a budget, but who else wants a good time! Pros: Great Rollercoasters, inexpensive, ample choices of ride Cons: food expensive, long lines, crowded more

Cedar Point Rules 7/16/2003

Cedar Point outranks any amusement park in the world. Every coaster there has broken a record at one point. The are more roller coasters in that one park than anywhere else. We have the tallest, fastest coasters around. I have been to many amusement parks in the US and I have never been anywhere like Cedar Point- no park has 12 coasters in one park- and everyone of them rocks! Pros: More attractions, Inexpensive, Great Parking more

Cedar Freak 7/16/2003

I have been visiting this park since for the past 25 years. Each year is better than the last. Now that I am approaching 40, I keep wondering when I will tire of the 3 hour drive - NEVER!! Plenty of coasters and we LUV the water park as well. Pros: COASTERS, Shows, mid August best time Cons: bring lots of cash more

The BEST Coasters in the WORLD! 7/16/2003

This park by far has the most exciting, diverse, and daunting roller coasters in the world. If 205 ft high (The Magnum) is not enough try the 310 ft Millenium. IF that is not thrilling enough how about the new 420 ft dragster! I think there is a total of 16 coaster rides and a bunch of water rides, rides for the little ones, food galore, and aa nice location. Pros: Coasters!, Plenty of rides!, location Cons: $$$, new rides long lines more

A must visit 7/16/2003

Well worth the 8 hour drive to get there. Impecably clean park. Very well staffed. Ride lines were somewhat long as we expected but were always moving so the wait didn't seem as long as it was. The only con is it's too far away from me! more

Fantastic!! 7/16/2003

I grew up about 90 minutes from Cedar Point and have seen this amusement park grow to what it is today. I now live in Florida with all of the Disney's and Universal Studios, and NOTHING compares with the excitement of Cedar Point. The attractions are great and the french fries are to die for. I would highly recommend Cedar Point to anyone who wanted to fill their day with amusement and fun!! Pros: Good parking, Inexpensive Cons: Adult oriented more

Cedar Point Opinion 7/16/2003

The rides are great and the park is very clean. We were frustrated by the pricing for children. 48"" or taller you pay full price, regardless if your child will ride the grown up rides or not. I have a young child who was exactly 48"". We were charged the adult price and later denied the opportunity for her to get on rides that had a 48"" limit. At the gate they use a bar, at the rides they use a colored pole. The staff at Cedar Point do not seem to enjoy there jobs! I understand loading people on a ride can be boring but a smile goes a long way. All in all, I would give Cedar Point high marks. We have travelled to Sandusky, OH the past 3 years to visit this park and we'll probably keep going. Pros: Great Rides, Very Clean, Lots to do Cons: Staff Unfriendly, Child pricing more

Cedar Point Rules! 6/25/2003

I go to Cedar Point every summer. It has the greatest rides, good food, and fun for people of all ages. I recommend the place for everyone interested in having a great summer vacation. Pros: rides, fun, friendly workers Cons: crowded more

AMERICA'S ROLLERCOAST 6/19/2003

THE BEST THE WORLD HAS TO OFFER!!! Cedar point has the best coasters in the world wrapped up inside an amazing family park! As a child I couldn't wait to be tall enough to ride the Blue Streak. As an adult I can't wait to see what's next! Shorter lines are there during the week, especially early in the morning. There's also lots to do in the surrounding area, I drive 500 miles to go back to 'the point' almost every summer, and it's always worth it! As a bit of trivia... the beach at Cedar Point was the birthplace of the forward pass by Knute Rockne!!!! Pros: roller coasters, staff, food Cons: sometimes crowded more

Mom 6/19/2003

Cedar Point is beautiful! I often stroll through the park simply to admire their landscaping. Pros: beautiful, variety, reasonable rates Cons: drinks too expensive more

Incredible 5/30/2003

The new Top Thrill Dragster was the most amazing ride i have ever been on my life. People waited in line for hours for this 20 second ride but it is worth it. No words can describe the adreneline rush you'll get!!!!! more

Top Thrill Dragster!!! 5/29/2003

Yeah Baby!!! You have got to get to Cedar Point this year. I just drove from Greenville, SC to CP for a 20 second ride of my life. They've got this coaster this year called Top Thrill Dragster. Zero to 120 mph in 4 seconds; 420 feet tall; 90 degree drop. It's been a week since I rode it and my pulse is still rapid!!! Yes, there will be crowds with a ride like this, but it's worth the wait. Besides, there are 16 coasters in all, at least 8 of which blow away any coaster I've ever been on a any of the Six Flags owned parks (sorry to dis 'em); plenty of great water rides too. Plus the view of the lake and Sanduskey Bay on a sunny day is the icing on the cake. more

Best Amusment Park on Earth 10/4/2002

I've been to Amusment Parks on 3 continents, and I can hanestly say that this is the best one I've ever been to. It's big, it's fun, and the roller coasters are outstanding. If you're not a coaster person, then Cedar Point is probably not worth the money, since the other attractions can be found at any park. Although the historic carousel is gorgeous and is a delight to ride. Pros: excellent rides, lots of parking, great location Cons: expensive, expensive, expensive more

awesome!!! 8/28/2002

cedar point is the BEST theme park! i'm lucky enough to live only about 40 miles away! The park is kept very clean, and the staff is well-trained. The rides are super! Millenium Force is the BEST coaster! The Hotel Breakers is an old, but charming place to stay- right on the beach. Pros: very clean, friendly staff more
