Best

My family and I royally enjoyed ourselves at the park and also at Hotel Breakers. We loved the feeling of the place with all the old pics on the walls. Our experience in August...

Worst

For about 20 years I make an annual trip and this was the worst one ever. I was there in the middle of the week, and it is the 2nd year in a row that they don't have Top Thrill D...

Family Fun 7/12/2004

My family and I have been going to CP for the past five years and it's a GREAT place. My youngest child just made the 48 inch mark and rather than hagle with the kids running the rides, we had him measured at the office and recieved a wrist band that allowed him on the rides with out a problem. We are not roller coaster riders but we still have a super time. The kids especially love thunder canyon, the boat ride, and the Iron dragon. The best thing is there is hardly a wait for these because of all the coaters. Pros: family friendly, clean, most of the staff Cons: , unpredictable weather, some lines more

WOW 7/12/2004

All I have to say is Cedar Point is awesome... I live in florida and cedar point puts busch gardens to shame. for one the ticket only cost me 35 dollars... and there are soooo many awesome rides there. At busch gardens the tickets cost 55 dollars and there are only 3 decent rollar coasters.... its funny to hear people complain about the price when i live in a state that over prices everything. I definately think you get ur moneys worth. I went on a thursday (in the summer time) to the park and it was great. The only ride i had to wait longer then 20 minutes for was Dragster and once u get off that ride u don't care if you waited 2 hours cause that ride is worth it. I definately recommend this part to anyone that is a thrill seeker and a rollar coaster lover! Pros: Inexpensive, good parking, rides more

The Greatest Day of my life 7/12/2004

My trip to Cedar Point became the highlight of my life. I'd been to amusement parks all over the East Coast this summer, and it even put King's Dominion in Virginia and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg to shame! While I only went on four rides all day, i didn't mind waiting in line for Top Thrill Dragster-the greatest ten seconds of my life, with the wind in your face- an amazing feeling- for two hours, or waiting in line for two hours for Millenium Force- the DJ helps. CEdar Point rocks! Pros: Coasters, Price, Park Size, Food more

I love this place 7/12/2004

I grew up just an hour and a half from Cedar Point, and I love bragging about it to my friends in Albuquerque who think the Rattler at Cliff's is a real roller coaster. Cedar Point is the best. It truly is America's Rockin Roller Coast! Oh and as someone else complained about, they are introducing Fast Passes at CP. The system isn't real smooth yet, but they're working on it. Pros: amazing rides, good value, location (lake erie) Cons: , expensive food more

Biggest Bang for your Buck 7/12/2004

If you are looking for the BIGGEST Bang for your Buck, then Cedar Point is the ONLY place to be! I've been coming to this park since the early 1970's and have seen it get bigger and better every single year! When the Magnum XL200 debuted in 1989 (at a then unheard of height of 205 feet) I thought it could never be topped! I was wrong! In 2003 CP unveiled the Top Thrill Dragster at a heartstopping height of 420 feet! What's next? I shudder to even think! Pros: 16 Roller Coasters!, Clean Grounds, The BEST French Fries Cons: , Mid-day Long Lines more

Whooo Hooo!!!!!! 10/9/2003

Cedar Point has always been and will always be THE park for coaster lovers. If you haven't been, GO, GO, GO!!!!!! Pros: COASTERS, COASTERS, COASTERS Cons: Not open 24 hours!!! more

The Best 8/8/2003

Ceder Point is AWSOME! Some people say there are too long of lines but I say it gets you more crazed for the ride! the park is cleaner than all of the other parks in OH. I think every one should go to this park because Top Thrill Dragster and Millinium are just some of the wonderfull things. Pros: Great Rides, Clean, 3 parks in one Cons: there are none more

Cedar Point fun 8/7/2003

This is the best amusement park I have ever been to. It has a great selection of rides and thrilling roller coasters. I find the help to be better than most parks I have visited. The whole atmosphere is great. I don't have anything bad to say about the place. The only other thing that I can tell you is the drive is worth it. It was a three hour drive for us, I would have traveled longer for it. Pros: great rollar coasters, fun rides, good parking more

OMG! CP! 7/31/2003

Cedar Point is the greatest roller coaster park in the world. Notice I said roller coaster park, not theme park. I am from Florida, but my grandmother lives in Ohio, and nothing can compare to the roller coasters at CP. One bad thing about CP is that their technology is not as strong as a place like Universal Studios Islands of Adventures Spider man ride, but their coasters make up for it. I would say that Cedar point is a very good value. I know the food is expensive, but I've never been to a theme park where food is cheap. The entry fee of 41 dollars is also very good for 16 world class rollercoasters. One very bad thing though, is that it is built on a penninsula, so there is not much room to expand. Pros: Great Roller Coasters, Good entertainment Cons: Long Lines more

Place for fun! 7/31/2003

Cedar Point is a great place filled with fun, excitement, and thrills. With 16 roller coasters, a nearby waterpark, and lake eerie literally upon it's banks, it's a great getaway for a day or even a week. Millenium Force over looks the park on one side and the seemingly endless Eerie on the other side. The peninsula is filled with great places to eat, cool places to hang out, and hotels and docks all around. Pros: Adventure, family-friendly, small town atmosphere Cons: expensive, not 1-day trip place more

cedar point 7/27/2003

this is the best place for roller coasters....... the power tower was awsome !!!! i can't wait to get back there this year !!!!!! more

It's coasterriffic! 7/17/2003

For Coasterphiles this park can not be beat. I had more coasterriffic, scream time than at any other park I've been to. The park itself is really nice too. more

Cedar Point 7/17/2003

Cedar Point was the highlight of my summer during my childhood, and has only gotten better over the years. What great memories I have of my Father, siblings, and I riding the rides and watching the shows. There is no better amusement park in the world. Pros: Rides, Location, Parking Cons: Expensive, like the rest more

Best Park, Hands Down! 7/17/2003

I've been going to Cedar Point for over 10 years! There are rides for everyone! You can relax and watch the dolphins, go to shows, take a train ride, and shop; or you can hit all the amazing rollercoasters and thrill rides you possibly can! You can even go jet skiing if you want! If you don't have fun here, there is something wrong with YOU. Best amusement park anywhere! It's Very clean and has a friendly staff. Pros: many rollercoasters, separate water park, hotels are affordable Cons: busy on weekends more

RN student 7/17/2003

I lived in Michigan when I was very young, then moved to Oklahoma. No one here in Oklahoma knows about Cedar Point and I inform my friends here that they are missing out. They do not realize just how much Cedar Point blows Six Flags away. Every summer I visit my family in Michigan just for the opportunity to go to Cedar Point. I thrive off the adrenaline rush from the rollercoasters. It is the most amazing feeling ever! I did not get to check out the Dragster this summer because the lines were either way too long or the ride was temporarily down, but I look forward to riding it next year! The upside to the long line at the Dragster was that all other lines were relatively short. Pros: vending in lines Cons: 48" on Thunder Canyon more

cedar point 7/17/2003

i grew up near toledo, oh so every summer our family would go to cedar point. i have relocated to fl and my boyfriend takes me to different fl parks. each time i get excited and expect the ""cedar point atmosphere."" the results, however, are always the same. i tell him, no amusement park even comes close once you've experienced cedar point."" more

Favorite! 7/17/2003

Yes, it's pricey (like anything else comparable to it)... yes, the lines are long (but so worth it...). However, this is the best amusement park I've ever been too and I think it's quite worth it. I've been going since I was a kid and here are my suggestions: Go midweek, as early in the season as you can. Take two days and visit the waterpark on day two. Bring comfortable shoes, and don't wear white and go on the water rides. (Especially if you've applied fake tanner the night before). Buy your tickets through AAA, Meijer grocery stores, or other discount options - you can save about $15 per ticket. Don't buy the pizza, it's gross. And if you go in May, watch out for the mayflies. Disgusting. Oh yeah... and when the rides come to a stop, relax your muscles rather than tensing up. Especially on the Mantis. Pros: best roller coasters, midweek visits Cons: weekend crowds more

GOOD FUN!!! 7/17/2003

This is by far one of the best amusement parks, I've been to quite a few. Not only are rides running all the time, the park is VERY clean, and every one there is friendly. I've been to a few where you pay your high admission fee and then find out that half of the rides that you're there for are broken down. All in all good value. It's right on the Great Lakes too, so you get a nice view from the tops of the coasters. Pros: Clean, Great rides Cons: Smoking is allowed more

Simply the BEST! 7/17/2003

Cedar Point is by far the best amusement park on the planet! I have been to many amusement parks in my lifetime and I must say, nothing compares to the thrills, rides, and fun Cedar Point has to offer its guests! Although I live 2 hours away from it, I would definitely make an annual drive to get to CP if I lived farther, even across the country!! more

Great time for all 7/17/2003

I had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Cedar Point. I loved it even more because it seems the only people that actually know about this park are true roller coaster mavens. This park is packed with a various number of coasters. Once you try the Millennium, every other coaster is just child's play. Pros: Great Coasters more
