Cedar Crest Emergicenter

My husband became very ill while working away from home. I searched clinics for him and came up with Cedar Crest for the closest available to him. A long wait and he was treated for severe sinus infection. He had to return a few days later because the medication was not working and his teeth became severely painful. When he went back, again it was a long wait. He was seen by a different doctor who he said treated him like a drug addict off the street! He was told "well, you are not getting more pain medication." My husband said "fine just give me something that will work on this sinus infection!" The last thing he wanted to deal with after working a 13 hour day with his teeth aching, was an arrogant medical professional. It seems that respect and bedside manner are lacking here. My husband would definitely not recommend this facility. more

On 04/2011, I needed stitches for a wound I sustained, instead of spending five hours waiting in the regular emergency room, I chose Cedar Crest Emergicenter. I though the receptionist was very rude and really did not like her job. She can thank God she does not work for me because she would no longer be employed. Sometimes just a smile helps! However, the nurse who saw me was very nice and truly cared about taking care of my injury. The Doctor on the other hand was very rude as well and could have cared less about me. He entered my room and never identified himself as the Doc. I assumed he was because he was the one who stitched my leg. He never explained what he was going to do etc. When he administered the nova cane he did not do a good job because I felt every stitch. No bedside manners!!! Fast service more

Fast service going in. Doctor spent two minutes with me seemed agitated and in a hurry to get me out. Went in for dizzy spells, told him I wanted a prescription that wouldn't make me drowsy because of my work, He prescribed Reglan which I look all my meds up before I take, it's for HEARTBURN!!!! What??? I called and questioned them they said it's used for numerous reasons. Well needless to say I won't be taking it or going back to a place where the doctor just seems to care about your money. more
