We bought my ford from them and it literally took 2 days to do the deal. Most of it was sitting around the dealership waiting on them to do their own paperwork!

Officially converted from Honda to FORD!..That's CAVALIER FORD! My recent purchase of a Ford Edge was definitely not the typical experience I expected. I was in and out in a few hours with exactly what I wanted. My salesperson, James Young, was knowledgable, efficient, and not pushy. From Mr. Young to the service department I am 100% satisfied. nice experience 12/30/2010

Purchased a new explorer in 2005 have had nothing but trouble with this lemon.Back panel has a quarter inch crack through the hole panel at the ford emblem and so does every other explorer you see on the road,no heat because i have carried this explorer back four times over this problem because i found out you have to take all the dash board out to replace a blend door motor thats made of cheap plastic so my wife is the driver of this explorer she really loves cavalier ford all 47,000 miles of your dealership.And one more thing had to replace a crank shaft pully that flew to pieces and wiped out the sensors along with it at 34,000 that ford would not cover .So you keep sending us info on your new top of the line models your the best. I was having some problems with my 2004 Expedition ,I took it to the Cavalier Ford service department. The service advisor was a nice guy and their new Service Manager, Scott Benson was very helpful and professional. His attitude about good customer service was above what you normally find at a dealership. My truck was repaired right for a fair price. Thanks for a job well done. more

I read the reviews but figured this dealership works on hundreds of cars every month and most people that are happy with their service do not submit reviews. It is close to work so, I went in and was treated with respect and found the service guy was very nice and professional. They got my car fixed and everything was great. They did right by me and I'll be back. more

I purchased a used diesel from cavalier priced in the high teens and put less than 1000 miles on it before it died. The dealership didnt want to help in the least and stuck me with a $4000 repair bill. While trying to repair the truck I discovered parts that arent even supposed to be on a diesel truck, parts in plain view that a dealership mechanic should have noticed and thrown a red flag as a ticking time bomb. Still no response from the dealership and I'm making $400 payments on a truck that doesnt leave the driveway. more

Buyers Be Aware! 7/30/2010

Well, my experience at Cavalier Ford - Chesapeake was not at all what I had expected. Now, my salesman was great but his superiors and the repair shop were the problem. We kept getting the run around. They say one thing and do something completely different and didn't want to follow through on their contractual obligations. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle again from them. It was the worst automotive buying experience I have ever encountered in my fifteen + years of buying automobiles! more

It's amazing that people can get on a site like this and talk all kinds of trash and make up stories. The article that's titled read and heed with barry m as the author, Wow the reason that person does not work at this facility anymore is because he got caught being dishonest with a customer. He has the nerve to call cavalier ford thieves maybe you should look in the mirror. The funniest thing is he still brings his vehicle here for service work talk about a double standard. Been there, know the ins and outs of the place. Advertised service specials are actually at the regular sale price. If you have over 30,000 miles on your vehicle, you will be advised of up to $500-$600 dollars worth of maintenance and repairs that your vehicle needs........READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL and what is due at what service interval........DON'T LET THEM tell you something is due when its not. They have some awesome people in the service dept, but the rotten, thieves who think more of themselves than the customer, take away from an otherwise decent place. Overall, stay away, especially when dealing with their Service Manager..........what a Yankee Jerk!!! more

Pressure dealership 2/20/2010

On Presidents day (last Monday) my wife and I went to Cavalier Ford to look at new Ford F250 or maybe even and F350, anyway we knew the price range was going to be around $50,000 vehicle. As my wife and I drove through the parking lot the sales man was all over trying to waive us down, they were on us like a hobo on a ham sandwich, totally a major TURNOFF, But we were still interested in the trucks, so we drove around the back and hid our car to look at the trucks...wrong thing to do as the sales people soon found us, the sales person we spoke to had little knowledge of the trucks, we knew more about the product than the sales person, in fact I told him if he took notes he would be able to answer the next persons questions. We felt that we were HIGHLY pressured and I knew than I wasn't buying from Cavalier as all the sales person wanted to do was get us in the office and he kept saying all deals are only for today only no other times the same deals can be made. I didn't have a problem more
