Catonsville Car Care Ctr

Had a new engine put in my ford focus 03 and within 4 months the car engine fails. I paid $2800 for that engine just to have the car die before i can pay off. i'm am Seriously never bringing my car to this place again. Took is to the Lube n Tune place on rt 40 and they said that 2 cyclinders were loose and came apart banging around in the engine. for $2800 i could have bought another used car, NEVER again!!!!!!!!!!!! more

When we moved to Maryland we look for a care repair place for weeks. then we found Catonsville Car Care. We always took are cars there because we were on a short drive to the repair shop.Just around the bend.Need a repair shop go here!! more

I needed to get my tire repaired and after three calls I found Catonsville Car Care Center. I agree with Sarah that the waiting area is not too flashy, but it's comfortable enough. The mechanics were friendly and had an air of trustworthiness, like bringing the car home for dad to work on. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. If I have any other car issues I will take my car there, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a repair. I suspect there might be more of a wait next time, but these guys are worth it. I ended up tipping them because the price seemed very decent and because they took care of me so quickly. more

I'm always wary of taking my car to a new mechanic--you never know if you're getting good service or if you can trust this person until you've tried them a few times. For years after moving to Ellicott City/Catonsville, I tried one mechanic after another and was never very impressed. I finally found a place to take my car that I can trust. The Catonsville Car Care Center is just off the beltway on Edmondson Road. The shop doesn't look like much--a dingy waiting area with a grubby counter and a crowded and tiny lot (why is it that so many repair places don't actually have much space for cars?). But the service you get is top-notch. I *like* it that the place isn't flashy and comfortable--it means you aren't paying for a lot of unnecessary stuff. The mechanics are older, so they have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. They are straightforward and honest with their customers and their repairs never go over the estimate they give you. more
