Review content:
I'm always wary of taking my car to a new mechanic--you never know if you're getting good service or if you can trust this person until you've tried them a few times. For years after moving to Ellicott City/Catonsville, I tried one mechanic after another and was never very impressed. I finally found a place to take my car that I can trust. The Catonsville Car Care Center is just off the beltway on Edmondson Road. The shop doesn't look like much--a dingy waiting area with a grubby counter and a crowded and tiny lot (why is it that so many repair places don't actually have much space for cars?). But the service you get is top-notch. I *like* it that the place isn't flashy and comfortable--it means you aren't paying for a lot of unnecessary stuff. The mechanics are older, so they have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. They are straightforward and honest with their customers and their repairs never go over the estimate they give you.
