We stayed at this hotel because it is closer to Casino Point (although up a relatively steep hill) and was inexpensive. My husband and I are avid scuba divers that needed a nice place to stay and a good nights sleep. The whole hotel has been newly renovated/remodeled with fresh paint, carpet, fixtures, and bedding. On the top floor they have higher-end, larger family style rooms, but we opted for the queen sized bed economy room which are cozy and come with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV/Cable, private Bathroom/shower, Air conditioner & Heater. The roll of Paper Towels is a nice added touch. How many times have you needed a napkin/paper towel and instead all you have are towels? Chris, who provided us our helpful and friendly hotel service, was extremely accommodating to us and was able to accommodate us with our scuba equipment; allowing us to use their hose to clean our equipment and bring us to and from Casino point using their very cool ""Pimped Out"" 2-3 person seat motorized vehicle. There ""sister"" hotel called the Hermosa, which we have also stayed at, does cater more to scuba divers because of outdoor showers and places to store your equipment outside your room, but we wanted to try something different and a little closer to Casino Point.
