Timely and Reliable 8/18/2005

The Centre Area Transportation Authority has done well with recent budget cuts and really does care about the people they are serving. They are always on time and usually not very crowded, however the campus loops that they also run are a different story. Penn State has the Blue and White Loops and Link to transport students on campus tend to be very crowded and are not on a time schedule because they run so often. more

Excellent public transportation 7/29/2005

CATA busses are consistently punctual, clean, and have courteous drivers. They provide a valuable service to the town, and riding the bus is a pleasure--the drivers are a part of the community and seem to enjoy their jobs as they greet each other and community members. Unlike many public transportation systems, CATA buses are consitantly on time, which is remarkable, considering the number of people they service daily (especially when school is in session.) Additionally, Penn State employees can get a $5/month card to ride the bus, which is great! more
