Cat Care Clinic

I just moved here from Michigan in the spring and took my cat here as they are just around the corner and I needed upto date shots for the groomer. Boy what a pleasant surprise! The staff was so welcoming, the nurse seemed very knowledgeable and the doctor seemed very caring to my baby girl who hates vets (hes tried to bite y prev vet before!). We got our once per year check up and the shots she needed. Tier prices seemd in line with what I have paid at other clinics minus all the extras that other vets try to tack onto the bill. I will be briging my girl back here for all her future needs. thanks girls! more

I brought my cat in recently for his annual exam and shots. Taking him to the vet has always been a fight, he hides under the bed when I get the cat box out and it takes all 3 off us to stuff him in it, then he screams for the whole car ride. This is why I decided to take him to a cat only vet, thinking it would be less traumatizing for him. Although he is still not a fan of the vet, visits go much more smoothly at the Cat Clinic. The nurses are always very friendly and give him lots of love to help calm his nerves. He didnt want to come out of his box so the nurse took the top of the box off, this allowed him to still feel safe in his bed, but gave them acess to him for his check up. He does much better this way! A trick I never would have though of - they really do know cats! Now we leave the vet feeling far more relaxed, knowing we are both in safe hand. more

I have been bringing my kitty Jimmy here for 3 years now. The staff is so freindly and helpful. Its so nice going to a cat only clinic. My kitty was so stressed at his last vet - with all the dog smells and barking. Its so quiet and relaxing that Jimmy was perfectly happy to come out of his carrier and explor the exam room. The staff handels cats all the time, so they knew exactly how to handel him without stressing him out. He had to go on a special diet for his bladder which I can pick up anytime from the clinic - very helpful - thanks guys! more

We have received the greatest care for our cat since coming to Cat Care Clinic. The Doctors really care about her and the staff is very professional. We have changed her diet and this has saved us money. The services may cost more here but knowing that they specialize in feline care makes the added expense worthwhile. I am glad we made the change and have recommended them to our friends, whose kitties are also on the mend! more

Major thumbs down. I took my cat in on Saturday for routine vaccines and to preview the services for future regular exam purposes since we now live close by. Frau Blucher at the front desk, couldn't be bothered to check people in or acknowledge their presence. I stood for over 10 minutes, as did 3 others, before being waited on by another staff person who was pleasant. Then after another period of time in the waiting room, Frau Blucher came to take my cat back for the vaccines. I asked if they also do a routine look-see at the cats, as every other clinic I have ever been to does, just to see if they notice anything amiss, and stated that I had noticed that my cat was tearing out of one eye for the past day - what would this possibly indicate? She very rudely stated that she couldn't address this since I wasn't there for an exam. I would have gladly "paid" for an exam if indicated. We were in need of emergency care and this clinic's staff stayed open for an extra two hours to help us. One of our cats had a severe cut and we discovered the other had ear mites. They got our cats well and wrote out our travel certificates for the airline. Thanks. more

We have been going to Cat Care Clinic for the entire time that we have had Cloe.She would not have made it if not for the kindness and care of their entire staff.The doctors were able to use an Endoscope to find out why Cloe was having intestinal problems. By Sunday, she was eating again. It turned out our cat had an intestinal infection cause by a bacteria like E. coli. I work at Overlake and can say that thanks to their professional care and kindness, Cloe is doing great and our children have their cat back.Thanks more

I used to go bring my Bengal here until I moved to Seattle. I am now back in Bellevue. I got home at 5:00 yesterday and the bengal was coughing up blood. I called the clinic and was told they were open till six and they had their last appointment at 4:30. In my stressed condition I thought Great I am on my way. When I arrived at 5:55 they has already locked the door and when I knocked they somewhat flippantly told me that what they were saying was though they are open till 6 they do not take appointments after 4:30. Bottom line I thought my cat was dying and they turned me away. \r \r I found a 24 hour clinic on 156th and they examined the cat gave him some anti nausea meds, Pepcid and a shot of antibiotics and he seems fine now. \r \r I can not believe that knowing I was on the way they could have called me back or helped me. To turn me away was unforgivable. more

Awesome vets- Attentive,interested and thorough. I love that this is a kitty only atmosphere, and that the vets are trained as such. I never worry about the treatment my babies will receive here. PROS: Cats only CONS: Prices are higher than some other vets. more
