I had gotten both the vehicle I just bought and the one I had traded in from Cassill Motors. They were both pretty good vehicles. My wife's parents have bought cars from Cassill Motors for years on end, and I had gone to school with some of the guys from there. So far, I have bought vehicles from them, but I have also signed up for their maintenance plan so I'll use their maintenance service soon. I've been a customer of Cassill Motors for three years. Disappointed. Customer Follow-up - Non-existance 5/23/2011

I cannot begin to express how angry and disappointed I am with the lack of professionalism at Cassill Motors. On Thursday, May12th my wife and I test drove a 2005 Saturn Vue. The following day, Friday, May 13th, we completed the finance application. As of Saturday, May 21st and through the entire process, the follow-up had been less than impressive. We were rarely contacted and I even had to contact someone else to get the ball rolling. To top it off, not one person bothered to email, call, send smoke signals or anything to tell us that the Saturn we started the original deal on was SOLD from under us. I had to call and speak with the Finance Manager to get this information. In conclusion, I value customer service. I was a Realtor in Iowa and NEVER allowed my clients to go without proper follow-up and constant communication. All we asked was to be kept abreast of what was going on, only to be told the very vehicle we wanted was SOLD "... the other day". I'm sure those reading would feel just as angry as we do. We put our trust in Cassill Motors and was let down. Disappointment cannot express how we are feeling at the moment. RESPONSE FROM Cassill Motors: I am truly sorry to hear that we disappointed you. As was expressed in the emails and phone messages we have left, we would really like the opportunity to make this right. I would like to again encourage you to call Jay Cassill on his cell# 319-573-6455. There are lessons here for both of us and I assure you that the communication issue you suggested has been addressed within our staff. more

Cassill Motors keeps our trucks in good, solid running condition. 3/17/2011

We run a fleet of vehicles and whenever our trucks are out of service, Cassill Motors works quickly and efficiently to get them in in safe and working condition as fast as they possibly can to get them back out on the road again. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else for bodywork. Lowell in the Cedar Rapids bodyshop was fantastic. My vehicle looked like new, it was finished when promised, the price was fair, no hidden fees, and to top it off my vehicle cleaner than when i brought it in. more

Cassill Motors was great. The sales team was very informative. I actually dealt directly with Jay, who was just awesome. I am happy with the price, and I have already driven all the way to Texas with no problems. Their body shop personnel are also great. They provide excellent customer service and everyone greets you with a smile. They were very attentive. If I needed anything, they were all over it. Nothing took more than a day. I had had some minor concerns regarding the navigation system that I wanted taken care of, and I did not expect them to be as diligent as they were. They were able to order a new disc for my navigation system in time for my trip to Texas, and that was awesome. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, family member, or anyone else looking for a vehicle. more

We bought a Toyota from Cassill Motors, but I decided I wanted to go to a van. We talked to Jay. He said he had some vans coming in, and he would call to let us know when they arrived. In a couple of weeks he called us to tell us the vans were in. We went over and looked at them. When we decided to do the trade Jay gave us almost what I paid for for the Toyota because he knew what kind of care my husband takes of our vehicles. Since then we have had work done on our van at Cassill Motors, and if they can't fix it, then they take it to dealership for us. Everything has worked out fine. They get me in when I need an oil changed. I can call and am in there in a day or two. I think they are great, I really do. Their service people are very conscientious; when I take the van in for an oil change they ask me if I need a ride home or if someone is picking me up. When I was getting some work done on the van, even though I don't live close by, on of the guys came and got me at my house and took me to pick the van up. more
