No lo recomiendo. more

This place is just plain ran down. It seems that owners are trying to squeez every dollar out of the place before they go under. The place is dirty and needs some big time renovations. They should try pest control at least. I did see two roaches on the wall and the waiter just grabed it with their hands and then served food :( TV is LOUD and seems that people go there to watch TV and use it as their living room. My wife is from Peru so Peruvian food is part of us. The food is just bad and ceviche is NASTY, Soup is just as bad. Lomo Saltado was not good at all. Bad rep for Peruvian food. Never again. more

While commuting between Miami and our $50-a-night Priceline hotel in far western Broward, we pulled off for a evening ceviche snack at Casa Peru. I have no complaints at all about the food and the service. The fish, shrimp, and octopus were bright and tasty. This was my third visit and I look forward to #4. A few small changes could change one's impression of this little place. The first thing one sees when entering a buldings -- most buildings, that is -- is the door. For some reason, the door handle is covered with dirty flat white latex paint. A small investment could do wonders for the first impression. We were slightly annoyed by competing televisions in the dining room. If you need to show two different programs at once, please turn the sound down on one of the televisions.\r \r I've recently been thinking of compiling a list of good places to eat for travelers on I-95 who don't want to subject themselves to fast food or hideous chain grub. Casa Peru would make my list. more

First, I have to be sincere, the owner and cheff is a very good friend, therefore, I will write a positive review! now This restaurant is under his managment , He is a really good cheff and I recommend his food to everyone. I was reading the last review and was very sad because this is the image that the last owner left, however I know that with the good touch that he has, he will shine above the other restaurants, I definitive recommend this restaurant with this new team! more

Look this isn't bad Peruvian food, it's just bad food! Unassuming, unpretentious, yes, but also unappealing and unsatisfactory. My wife is from Arequipa so I've had my fair share of Peruvian cuisine, the ceviche was really nasty in this restaurant never ever again more

Today I had the most distasteful experience at Casa Peru in Hallandale Beach, We walked in and a nice young men greeted us an waited on us, it was my wife, my daughter, a younger neighbor female, and I ,we ordered the lomo saltado for me and my wife, my daughter ordered the ceviche. The lomo saltado was good, but the ceviche had no flavor, we asked the waiter to help, he was very helpful and tactful said to order something else and we did, when he went to the kitchen the female cook started to yield at him, saying that we should eat the ceviche even if we did not like it, she was yieling for 10 minutes to this poor guy, Another three customers came in and sat down through this, till they got upset and walked out, I knocked on the kitchen door to call their attention, so the other customers wouln't leave, the kid came out but could not stopped them. I told the waiter that all the yielling could be heard loud, The cook came out and explained that the kid was new and that we should not had the ceviche exchanged! I told this lady that it was of bad taste to fight over a dish that it was not worth loosing the customers! At that time the owner showed up and said" I don't care to loose a customer over a dish, No one is going to insult us, I said No one has been insulted, you lost three customer because of the yielling over a dish! He again said" I don't care to loose customers, I had been here for ten years" He told us to leave, but when I got up he said "pay first", I told him, I thought you asked us to leave, He said yes but not without paying! The customers are of no importance to this man, the money is, But they go hand to hand! more
