While commuting between Miami and our $50-a-night Priceline hotel in far western Broward, we pulled off for a evening ceviche snack at Casa Peru. I have no complaints at all about the food and the service. The fish, shrimp, and octopus were bright and tasty. This was my third visit and I look forward to #4. A few small changes could change one's impression of this little place. The first thing one sees when entering a buldings -- most buildings, that is -- is the door. For some reason, the door handle is covered with dirty flat white latex paint. A small investment could do wonders for the first impression. We were slightly annoyed by competing televisions in the dining room. If you need to show two different programs at once, please turn the sound down on one of the televisions.\r

I've recently been thinking of compiling a list of good places to eat for travelers on I-95 who don't want to subject themselves to fast food or hideous chain grub. Casa Peru would make my list.
