They stole my phone they seriously stole my phone... even after I called them to let them know that I was aware that my cell phone was in my car.. and that they needed to contact me at my home when they were done with my vehicle.. they still stole my phone.. police cant do much without proof that the phone was stolen.. but I know who stole it.. the only guy I gave the keys to!!! Not much I can do now but write 1000 bad reviews and spread the word. Please take your buisness else where. more

Great Customer Service 12/18/2011

I wanted Satellite radio in my car. Went shopping around at major electronic stores and didn't get much help. I've heard about Car Tunes before from people that have had work done there. The staff was very knowledgeable in what I needed. I ordered the radio on line, then took it to them to install in my brand new car. I was concerned about scratches or damage during installation. They reassured me that there would be no damage. It took two hours, with them staying after hours to do it. They called the satellite company and got it activated for me. Very professional and the final product was excellently installed and sounded great! No damage or scratches either. I would recommend them highly. more

Great Service 12/14/2009

The thing that sets them apart from the other shops is their customer service. Very polite and not overly pushy. They even gave me advice about buying products on line and didn't make me feel cheap for asking. The two cars I have had worked on there were both done in a profesional, timely manor. I can't speak for all the employees but if you have a question talk to the manager. Pros: Customer Service Cons: none that I've found yet more

Car Tunes Rip-Off 12/18/2008

Do NOT go to this place, they will rob you blind! They told me that they had to take out my remote starter in order to install a car alarm. After speaking with several electronics installers, all of which said that was nonsense! I didn't even get my remote starter back, which is because Car Tunes will try to sell it off, and they haven't heard the last of me. I didn't even get proof that the two systems would not work together. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF RIPOFF Cons: awful customer service, they will try to cheat you and rob you blind more

These Guys Should Be Shut Down 7/22/2008

I had the same experience as everyone else besides the guy who must work for cartunes. There were no prices on anything and the install job was awful. Please go anywhere else but cartunes. These guys are very dishonest. I found this link from someone who went to the Orem store and had the same issues as the Layton store. Go to ripoffreport dot com and do a search for car tunes. Pros: None exist Cons: They don't give me enough words to list them all more

I completely agree with Justin. The other dude must work at Cartunes. I have always wondered where ex-cons get jobs after prison. This is the place. They never give you a straight answer about anything. By the end of your purchase, you pay three times as much as they initially told you. These guys are are all a bunch of criminals. I believe in karma and these guys will be out of business in no time. more

This place does awsome work! I'm not sure what the other guy was so mad at but they treated me great. If you want proof just go look at there install book . i have had two systems installed by them and have had no problems. They are worth stopping by and giving them a look. Pros: Good product and they know what they are talking about Cons: low stock levels more

STAY AWAY!!! 10/16/2007

I bought a stereo from craptunes. First of all, they have no prices on anything and they act like they are giving you a deal by saying ""I can give it to you for this price"" WTF. They scratched my dash during the install. Stereo sounds terrible and they blame it on the manufacturer instead of the install. Keep telling me if I spend more money they might be able to fix it. SCAM artists. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! Any place else would be better. Trust me. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more
