Carrburritos was one of the places I was told I had to go to when I moved up here. It's a local favorite, and with the large variety of unique ingredients (seafood, sweet potatoes) along with typical favorites, it doesn't disappoint. In fact, the food is so exceptional, including a slew of salsa options, that it would be an perfect restaurant if not for... 1) Drinks. I don't know about you, but a can of soda or a cup of water is not enough beverage to get me through a meal. The lack of a fountain means getting every mile out of that 12oz drink, buying another, or waiting for the overworked staff to pour you another glass of water. 2) Ambience. This is sort of a wash because the quaint atmosphere, including the grotto-esque outdoor seating is pleasant. Still, the place is cramped and gets extremely loud during high traffic times. 3) Clientele. If you spend much time in Carrboro then you probably understand where I'm going, but it's worth mentioning to visitors from out of town. Without fail, you will encounter at least one group of people who will make you want to bash your skull into a wall. I've sat next to couples/groups who have spent an entire lunch discussing the quality of trays, congratulating each other on being able to correctly pronounce Chorizo, or arrogantly pontificating on current events. Like I said, it's a cramped seating area and you're going to have to listen to these people. Your best bet is to get this great food and book it out of there to enjoy in the privacy of your home/work/what have you.
Pros: Wonderful burrito joint food, great variety, great value
Cons: Crowded, getting refills on water/salsa can be a chore, no fountain drinks, patrons
