I wanted new carpet for my house that I rent out and I called Carpet Source and they were great. First off, their price is phenomenal and a great a value. Second, they did a great job at doing exactly what they said they were going to do. And lastly, the installation team was professional and did an excellent job at outfitting the house with solid carpet. I have recommended them already and will continue to do so! more

We initially had some concerns when the carpet installers left at 1:30 pm with the job only half done. We brought this to the attention of Andy the Manager and he apologized profusely and indicated they would make it right. Later that evening, the owner of the company called and also apologized for the service breakdown. The next day, the owner called me again to insure we were happy with the carpet and installation, which we were. Negative start, but a great recovery by management. Carpet Source was excellent! First they sent someone to do the measuring in our house. He made recommendations and scheduled the install date. The installment went well because they moved our furniture, and did some acid washing and treatment on the floor slabs. It was perfect. more

This entire process was terrific! I had seen the Carpet Source ad years ago and when I finally called, we had salesman Tim in our home within a few days. It only took about an hour for us to choose the carpet we wanted, for Tim to measure and prepare, print a quote, and for us to pay the deposit. Two weeks later the installers here right on time; a friendly pair of brothers who worked together in a relaxed and professional way, moving furniture, removing the old carpet, cleaning up the mess, and then installing the pad and new carpet. I called Don for an estimate, upon his arrival he was more than stocked with several types, colors, shades of flooring. Once we decided on a carpet type, it was much easier to choose the exact color to match our décor. Need I say more? Give him a call he cant be beat. more

The owner of Carpet Source, Don, came out to our house when we were looking to get some carpeting done. He walked us through the process step by step. We gave him an idea of what we wanted beforehand, so he brought tons of different square samples with him. He even went back to his office to pick up some more squares, and we ended up going with one of those. It really felt like he was giving us individualized care. The installers came and worked very hard during the job. We had them do a living room, a bedroom, and a hallway that was a bit tricky. They moved the heavy furniture out. Then, they installed all of the carpeting. It wasn't a large area, but they really took their time to look at the job and decide where the seams should be since it was supposed to flow in the same direction. They were in and out of there in under six hours. There were no problems at all with their work. We didn't have to call them back for anything afterwards. In the end, everything looked good and was ready for Thanksgiving, even with the short notice we gave them. We got really lucky finding Carpet Source. They provided great customer service. It's nice to be able to give our business to a local company rather than a big box company. You will do better going with a local company and a local owner who knows customer service. In the last 5+ years, customer service has gone to the waste side, but Don makes sure to do a really good job for his customers. more

I emailed Carpet Source to get some estimates and they got back to me within the hour to set up an appointment. Soon after they came out to do some measurements and brought a multitude of samples. I appreciated their diligence in working (they were with me for a few hours) and after I ordered the carpet it came within a couple weeks. i was very satisfied with the entire process! more

Don Lovato of Carpet Source did what he said he would do. He got us the carpet at the price he said he would and he delivered and installed it. The installers were the best carpet installers I've ever used--to the point where I'm actually going to have him install carpet in another building and I asked for the same installers on that project. I've put carpet in a number of buildings and this is the best experience I've had. I approach picking out and installing carpet with the same enthusiasm as I would a root canal. I can't say enough good things about Don and his company. They made the process painless. Don's very thorough and he's upfront. The main thing as far as I'm concerned is that he comes to your house, makes the experience very simple, and does what he says he will. That to me is everything: having a vendor that does what he says he will and does it when he says he will do it. We went shopping for carpet at Lowe's and at Home Depot because of their convenient hours, little did we know that we would be quickly disappointed with the level of service just making a carpet selection let alone a charge to come do an estimate. We then went online and searched for people in Albuquerque that provide carpeting and found Carpet Source, what got my attention was the Angie's list award and all of the great reviews, at first I thought it was too good to be true. After making the initial phone call to schedule the appointment with the lovely girl that answered the phone, I knew I was taking to the right place just by the warmth in her voice. The appointment was made, and on the day they were coming out they also called out of courtesy to let us know that they were running 15 minutes behind, which is unheard of Albuquerque! Now the estimator/owner arrives, and we felt even more comfortable in his confidence to be able to help us get what we wanted at a reasonable price and the timeframe we were asking for. :-) The carpet has now been installed for two weeks the experience was much like an "Apple type"experience (I work at the Apple store), with high level quality, great warranties and superior communication skills. I'll admit we had a few small hiccups along the way, but nothing terrible; little things that were unavoidable to Carpet Source, like the manufacturer delaying the shipment a couple days due to a holiday. All in all, we are extremely pleased with the installers, the girl at the front desk, the estimator/owner, and reasonable price. I highly recommend to anyone! more
