I had just a horrible exeperience with Carpet One. They came out gave us a bid on carpet and said they would get back to us on tile the next day. A week later, I called and they said, oops and would get back to us the next Monday. They failed to get back to me. One of my carpets was set to arrive in two weeks, even though they said they could have it installed in ten days and the other was backordered. When they failed to get back to me again on the tile, I tried to cancel the whole order. Now even though they didn't meet their contract requirements, they said there would be a 20 or 25% cancellation fee. I spoke with the managerand he said oh, yeah, they wanted to please but since they had a signed contract, he couldn't do anything on the carpet which wasn't on backorder so three weeks after they were supposed to have installed it, they schedule to come. His excuse on the problem with the tile? Well, I didn't have a contract--the problem with the carpet, I didn. I would recommend no one go here as customer service doesn't appear to mean anything to this company. And if you try to get carpet, they will not meet their commitments but will hold you to a one way contract!!!!!!!!!!!!
