They have high prices, so they can tell you they charge $2.50/square yard for installation when actually, they charge at least twice what the carpet would cost you else where. As...

My experience was horrible! salesperson was nice but owner was completely rude and out of line. have heard so many horror stories of this place that i should have never even tried. its places like this that take advantage of people like me who know nothing of carpet shopping. tried lowes and home depot .settled on Rakes in Madison. felt so much more comfortable and was treated with respect. i may have paid a smidge more at rakes, but after the way carpet mart treated me. i know i made the right choice more

CARPET MART IS HORRIBLE!!!!! 1/24/2011

Its places like this that are giving Ashtabula a bad name! After setting up an appointment for a measurement ,the owner showed up 3 hrs late. After ordering the carpet, a time was set for install. The installers ,who were suppose to be there in the morning. NEVER SHOWED! After argueing with the owner the next day. he sent out 2 butchers to my place. they did a horrible job. Ive had carpet mart back 3 times to fix it and they still cant get it right. It seems once they get your money ,they dont care anymore. STAY AWAY FROM CARPETMART! Ill never go back more

mon and dad were great to work woth, had integrity and pride,\r would stand behind their sales, cared about their custiomers.\r How they raised a unloyal, selfish , money hungry son who\r only cares about the almighty buck then forget about the loyal\r customer is beyond me. youll never find some one worse to work for,,,,,,and not get your commision ck and the employees hate the owner,,,,,,,in which they call MR PERSONALITY,just ask one of them god bless his mother who GAVE him the place,she had a heart of gold,but in this economy i decided to go back and with 21 years experience worked for 8 /hr and 4%,which i recieved 1 ck on commision GOTO RAKES CARPET 1,GOD BLESS more

we purchased carpet there over a year ago we have taken them to small claims for the 3,000 we spent . We recieved didcontinued carpet. they cut the carpet wrong it comming up. this is suppose to be a berber. Service was bad was supposed to be here and then never showed up sales men mean to us on the phone. We made the mistake of paying them in full first .Carpet mart ARE CROOKS AND THE OWNER AILE A IDDIOT LOOK AROUND BEFOR U BUY PLEASE. more

They have high prices, so they can tell you they charge $2.50/square yard for installation when actually, they charge at least twice what the carpet would cost you else where. As they are one of the biggest places to buy carpet in Ashtabula, I would guess they do well with this plan. more
