Horrible customer service 11/27/2014

I bought a coffee table in the Waynesville store. They loaded it while I was paying. When I got it home there was a scratch on the top. I called the manager and sent a photo of the scratch. He indicated they would repair or replace the table. I sent multiple emails and left many voice mails for the customer service manager (Brian). He ignored every email and phone call. \r \r I finally contacted Better Business Bureau but the store refused to make things right. I will never shop here again. more

Buyer Beware! 8/22/2011

Sleazy Operation. Place sold me a bed after a lengthy discussion about what would be included in the price they quoted me at. After paying I went to pick it up at the warehouse and they would not include the bed rails we had clearly discussed as part of the deal. I assumed it must be an oversight or mistake but the owner refused to include the rails because the salesperson did not write it on the invoice. I immediately asked for my money back. Went back over to the store to get my money back and the salesperson hid in a back room. Place lost a $1,700 sale over a $49 bed rail. I will never step foot in one of their stores again and I encourage you not to. more

Be weary and be on guard 3/30/2011

They've been versed in getting sales. "This is our last one." "If you want this, we'll give you 10% off!" The things we ordered (my wife fell for it and I let it go) did arrive safely and on time without any mars (but some of the furniture is truly crappy ...) but I don't trust them because even the lovely saleswomen felt like con artists. I think I saw just about every trick in the book pulled (or so they tried). Shop but walk away and compare prices. REALIZE IT'S NOT THE LAST ONE. Also know if it's 10% off, either look elsewhere or offer them a lot less.\r \r Also, a reviewer did compare it to Ashley. I don't think I remember a "furniture" store that had worse junk in it. more

Exceptional Staff! 11/15/2010

I was looking for a bedroom group at Ashely but no one would wait on me at that store on Airport Rd so I went over to Carolina Furniture Concepts on Hendersonville Rd where the sales staff was friendly and worked with me to get the same bed. I didn't have a lot of money to spend and was not able to get financed but the owner of the company worked out a payment plan for me and gave me a better deal than the Ashely store! I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family who are looking to buy furniture! more

Carolina Furniture Concepts is shady 10/4/2009

We went in to purchase two recliners, picked them out, the salesman checked to see if they were in stock, and they were. We paid for them and went to the warehouse to get them. When we got them home, and out of the box, we realized we were given the wrong product. After several phone calls, many trips to the store and filing a complaint with BBB of Asheville, we finally got a refund, but we had to take the chairs to the store instead of them picking up the chairs. The management was rude and said the owner was "unavailable". The owner wouldn't return calls until after we filed with BBB. The only reason they get 1 star is so you can read this and not make the same mistake we did! more
