Carol House Furniture

i searched everywhere for furniture and although i may not have found everything i wanted in the showroom at Carol House, i was able to order everything i had found online AND Carol House gave me the price i was quoted online! once i realized they would match the price, i decided to purchase all of my furniture through them for my new home. Bruce helped me and i returned several times since my first purchase last year. They even mailed me a gift certificate as a ""thank you"" for all of my business. i continue to recommend them to all of my friends! more

My husband and I went to purchase a sofa. We saw many that we liked. We picked out a beautiful one. It was delivered within a few days. It is lovely. We did find a small rip in the fabric. I called customer service and they were more than helpful. They were willing to discount or replace the sofa. We opted for the generous discount. Inspite of the small tear, it was a delightful experience. The sales people and customer service people are very friendly and aim to please without being pushy or annoying like in other furniture stores. I will definitely shop there again. Joan Miller more

My husband and I went to Carol House to look at sofas for our new home. The sales person asked us if we were familiar with their design service. She explained that for a one time $90 fee a designer would come out to our home and advise on everything from paint colors to furniture selection and placement. The best part about the deal is that there is no limit on the amount or number of times that you can meet with the designer. Plus, the fee is credited toward any future furniture purchase over a certain amount. more

A friend recommended Carol House as being a great place to purchase furniture...she was definitely right! Lynne greeted us at the front door and was so helpful in helping us select furniture for a new addition. She also explained Carol House's interior decorating service, which is definitely an answer to my prayers! My husband and I were looking for Bedroom furnitrue and had been all over St Louis. Carol House was our last stop. We met Joe at the front door. Joe was ready to do what ever he could to earn our business and find the bedrooom set with the pieces that we wanted. Joe was so helpful we bought two sets! The furniture there is real nice... So when you hear the saying ,""Cause you like nice things"", they are not joking!!! We plan to buy ALL of our furniture in the future from Carol House! more

As this was the first time I had ever officially gone furniture shopping for myself I was certainly overwhelmed with the process but the staff at Carol House really listened to what I was looking for and even offered to have one of their designers come out to my home to take a look at the spaces I was trying to furnish. I must say I wish I had not wasted time shopping anywhere else because I was able to find everything here and at a great price. They were even willing to price match some items I found online that were selling for cheaper. I would highly recommend Carol House to anyone looking for a one stop shop for all your furniture needs!!!! more

My husband and I are seniors and saved to buy 'good' furniture for our living room. The salesperson assured us the sofa we were special ordering was of a durable material. When we got it, its as beautifully made as we remembered, but the material is horrible. It pills, runs, and we have a small dog so I have to keep the new sofa covered at all times. Not exactly what we had planned. I understand the thoughts Carol House may have about animals, but this fabric is running in places nobody touches. We also ordered two swivel reclines. These lean to one side so that they are not comfortable. We did buy insurance on them and the repair man came out to fix them. They even had staples showing, and our dog does NOT get on a chair that moves, he's afraid of them. They are leaning again. I do not sit on mine at all. My husband does sit on his sometimes. Our living room is small, so these are the only three pieces of furniture that we can fit :( I hate it. If we would have known this, we would have gone to Ashley's and paid half to get something more durable. I'm sorry, Carol House. I like nice things too, but it looks like I'm stuck with this. I really enjoyed my visit to Carol House Furniture. Although the showroom seems a bit cramped there is much to choose from. The furniture is also of high quality and very reasonable pricing. I can't wait to get my new kitchen table!! Also, they have a great selection of accessories, lamps and pictures to place in your home. Wish I would have visited Carol House first!!! more

After much looking in many stores and giving it lots of thought we made use of the in home decorating service offered at Carol House at the advice of our salesman, Andrew. Julie came to our home and immediately put us at ease. She spent some time getting to know us and our tastes. She measured and a few days later did a presentation for us at the store. She gave us wonderful suggestions and ideas that we loved. At the same time she listened to our comments and made any adjustments we requested. more

We bought several items for a new home at Carol House during their Labor Day sale. Our sales person was Tom Clark. Though he had been through a holiday sale rush, he could not have been more friendly, kind, and helpful. We liked the selection and the ability to shop for a number of different items in one place. We recently downsized homes and unfortunately had to sell quite a bit of our oversized furniture. We went to Carol House to look for new pieces and we were so happy to not only find what we were looking for, but had the most accommodating and professional sales people at Carol House. They worked with us and gave us GREAT pricing for the pieces we needed. We purchased a bedroom set from Carol House over 15 years ago and the set is still in great shape. I recently purchased a new home and I am very excited about filling it with new furniture. Being a bargin shopper, I checked out just about every furniture store in the St Louis area. I saved the best for last ... Carol House! They have a huge selection and the price is right!!! more

I was clueless on what color sofa/area rug to purchase. One of their decorators (Paula) came to my home and gave me great ideas! Within 1 week, I had a sofa and an area rug picked out at a great price. Will continue to go back for more advice and furniture. more

My husband and I went to Carol House in Valley Park this past Saturday and had a fantastic experience. Our salesperson, Don, was helpful but not pushy. He asked us what we were looking (which we were very specific) and he pointed us in the right direction. It was a fantastic experience. The person who rang us up was also super helpful. It is set to be delivered to our home (free delivery and set up!) next Saturday. Looking forward to finally be able to set up the living room. I will definitely be going back there for future furniture needs. more

I had been looking for a dinning room set and a sideboard. When I walked in to Carol house the very first sideboard I looked at was it. I had been looking for one that was not very deep, I found one that was only 16"" deep and the design of the sideboard was beautiful old world look. Once I found that it was off to find a dinning room set, that did not take long I found one in 10 minutes, and I am a very picky shopper I new what I was looking for and found it. They have a GREAT selection and the Salesman that helped me could not have been any more helpful, it was all delivered in 5 days. I am so happy and will shop again at Carol House in Valley Park. more

My wife and I were looking for a sofa and a sleeper bed. Like all furniture it comes in all sizes and shapes and all colors of the rainbow. Our sales person went the extra mile the sort through the confusion and find the sofa and sleeper bed in the shape and colors we wanted. Thank you Carol House! more

We were looking kitchen table and chairs..Tables and chairs were available in every shape and color i could imagine..While most items are sold as 'sets', i did tell the sales person that it is also very kewl to mix your wood colors, we bought a medium oak table wand dark oak chairs..very pleasant shopping experience and the sales person was easy to work with.. more
