I have been very impressed with this clinic. They always get my prescription correct. I've seen a couple of the doctors there and they both are great. They take the time to listen and I never feel rushed during the exam. Overall, this place does a great job at checking your eyes, I would recommend them to anyone. more

I was there for 45 minutes for total Eye check up, which they initially said is $173.00 _ $58 for Contact lens test. Today I got a blil of $432.00. Dr Stout was not thorough in my eye treatment. The first thing he talked about when he entered the treatment room was how I am going to pay his bill, rather than asking what issue I have with eyes and my concerns. I've been to the mall eye places and have tried a lot of private doctors too, but this place has been the best for me. Helpful staff, they always have solved my problems. I tough on my glasses and they seem to always get them back into shape for me. Picking out glasses was always a chore for me, but the optician that I worked with there, took one look at my face grabbed a pair of frames off the wall and had me try them on. They were perfect. I usually end up trying on everything in the store and still don't think anything looks good. I was very surprised she could do this. The prices were great. I remember spending almost twice as much at the mall for the same type of glasses.\r \r The doctor I worked with was great. Explained everything and the exam was very detailed. They had some cool pictures for my eyes on a computer screen to show me. Overall the whole experience was better than I have had in the past. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Very efficient and friendly atmosphere. The eye doctor did an excellent exam and explained the results very well. Cool photos of the inside of my eye were taken - I had never seen that stuff before. The contacts I tried are the best I have had. Did not get glasses there, but my wife did and she mentioned that the selection was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. Pros: Thumbs up more

Had my first exam at this clinic. Great service and exam. Excellent doctor. Very good selection of frames. I had never had a good contact lens fit and the doctor at this clinic put me in some lenses that have been perfect. Pros: Experience Doctors, Great Frame Selections Cons: not open weekends more

I just read the previous review and am quite surprised at the rant. I am a former patient of Dr. Paymar and now a patient of Dr. Stout and could not be happier. The service at Eagan Eye Clinic is top notch and the customer service is the best I have had when shopping for eyeglasses. I find the exams very thorough, where else will the doctor spend 30+ minutes with you one-on-one? The glasses are priced reasonably and he opticians are very helpful in selection. I have been going to this practice for 15+ years and have never had a bad experience. Their brand new office is very nice and high tech. I have found Dr. Stout to be very good at what he does. I love how he explains everything he is doing and gives a great summary at the end of the exam explaining all the results. Highly Recommended. Pros: Great office, Great Doctors and Staff more

I recently had an eye exam at the clinic. When the glasses were delivered the perscription was incorrect. I could see better with my old glasses than with the new!!! They told me that the glasses were made incorrectly and ordered another pair. When the new glasses the staff told me to wear them until I could see better. I've worn glasses for 42 years and never have I heard such an outrageous proposal.\r \r I always saw Doctor Paymar when I went to the clinic. The Doctor has since retired. I asked Dr. Stout if he had read Dr Paymar's notes. He glanced at them as if to say what could I learn from him. Dr Paymar told me that my eyes need diffrent care to get the right perscription. I guess Dr Stout thinks that arrogance overcomes customer care.\r \r I had hoped that thee clinic would offer me an exam by another drocor. This was not to be. Guess business is so good that one can couple arrogance with a total disregard for well being of the patient. more
