Caring Family Physicians

I had an appointment I can't get off work very often work an hour away. So I left my house in plenty time to make my appointment. I can't predict the traffic. It's not my fault to get behind construction crews I just can't pass them all and risk an accident. Not everyones clocks are set the same. I was 5 monutes late to appointment and couldn't get seen. And still had to pay my appointment fee. It's not like I was planning not to show up I had every intention to be there even called them and told them what was going on. Kuddos to the receptionists she tried to get me in, I know its not her fault, but you guys need to give us working people a break sometime, I work in a medical office if we did that to our clients we wouldn't have any left. Re think your policy please. Give a person a warning atleast. If your late over 5 minutes you will not be seen this would have been nice to know. more

i love this doctors office my mom has been working there for quite awhile now and i now go to the doctor there both dr walters and jenn are great and know what they are doing!! dr walters works very hard and cares very much for his paients!! the girls, nurses and front desk are nice there are a few disagreements everynow and then but you will have those in any work place. overall i would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! more

HIS NURSING STAFF IS VERY RUDE & SELF CENTERED. DOCTOR WALTERS IS NOT MUCH OF A DOCTOR WHEN HE CAN'T LOOK AT YOU WHEN HE IS TALKING TO YOU. SO THERE FORE IN MY OPINION. CARING FAMILIY PHYSICIAN IS NOT THE BEST DOCTOR IN THIS TOWN BECAUSE OF THERE ATTITUDE. HE ALSO PROBALLY GETS EXTRA MONEY FOR SENDING HIS PATIENTSTO ANY NURSING HOME IN TOWN . MOST OF THEM HE SENDS TO THE WATERS OF SEYMOUR HE DON'T EVEN SEEM LIKE HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS & HE WON'T GET THE PATIENTS WHAT THEY NEED OR DOES NOT TAKE THE TIME TO GET WHAT THEY NEED OR WANT. THE WORST DOCTOR IN SEYMOUR. AND HE IS PROBBALLY SLEEPING WITH JANICE JOHNSON FROM THE NURSING HOME AT THE WATERS. more

I have been going to Dr. Walters for a couple years now. I recently found out he was voted Physician of the Year for 2008 by the State of Indiana. I feel honored to be a patient of a physician that receives an award like that. He is a down -to -earth physician that makes you feel comfortable. He is very knowledgable and you can tell how much he loves his job. Dr. Jennifer is great too. She is willing to listen to you and explain things so you understand them. As for the staff, I have had no problems with them. They have been more than willing to work with me on payment and appear to be very professional in appearance and attitude. I would recommend this office to everyone in the Seymour area. If you truely want a Caring physician you want to go to Caring Family Physicians. Pros: doctors are excellent more

For anyone looking for a Doctor's office, I would not suggest ""Caring Family Physicians."" Although the Physicians might be caring, the attitudes and unprofessionalism of the front desk ruins any positive attributes that the Physicians offer to their patients. The women upfront make you feel as though you should be ashamed to ask any question pertaining your visit because you might break up their social hour. The front desk is located right beside the waiting area and they openly discuss confidential information about patient's identifying them by their first name. This is not only in clear violation of HIPPA but when I am waiting to be seen, the last think I want to over hear is ""Sally's"" insurance problems and her inability to pay her bills. This is happened to be personally more then one time which is why I felt compelled to let others know the inefficiency of the office staff. Pros: Location Cons: Unprofessionalism of Office Staff more
