""This is your classic small town university coffee shop. For those of you coming to chapel hill, this is the original Caribou coffee. Yes it has a small parking lot, but there is a lot located across the street and another on the west side of the building. 'Caribou' coffee should explain things enough for you. It's a great place to go and hang out, and meet with friends in the warm atmosphere.""

I'm not sure what ""the original Caribou coffee"" is supposed to mean here. The original Caribou Coffee location is in Minnesota. If the phrase was meant to imply that the Chapel Hill Caribou Coffee location is a local small business, that's not the case. Caribou is the second-largest specialty coffee chain in the U.S. (after Starbucks).
Additionally, I'm not sure how ""'Caribou' coffee should explain things enough for you."" Their name certainly conveys the fact that they serve coffee, but that's about it.
I should say that I love this Caribou location and their staff. It was my second home for three years of grad school. They have a wide variety of delicious drinks (cold and hot) and the staff, even with turnover, is always very friendly (but they never ask if you want skim - remember to tell them if that's your preference).
HOWEVER, the reviewer above mentions its ""warm atmosphere"" - this is not the case in the literal sense. They keep the A/C on all year, and it's always FREEZING inside, so bring a coat.
Pros: Delcious and friendly, wi-fi
Cons: FREEZING, no parking
