This is not a resume service that will help anyone further their career (besides the fact that they have a resume)- this is simply a service where the consumer's information is cut and pasted into already completed resumes, denying the consumer of any individuality, and ignoring requests. The pricing is also misrepresented and misleading. You are given astronomical prices for varying resumes, and then coerced into giving a cost you can afford or agree to- which is then the final cost. The pricing given is completely arbitrary. \r After being quoted prices around $1,000, I suggested what I had been quoted by another service. The difference between CareerPro and the other service was that the other service would have made me a resume from scratch that was personalized and individualized to my taste. I regretted agreeing to the resume. I called back the same day, he said he would call me back that day and he didn't until two days later. I was told my resume had already been sent to his ""writers"" when he advertises that your resume is written by an ""award winning author"" (him). Another lie if it is being written by others. I told him I wanted no bullet points, and a very simple resume format that started with my education. The resume I received had arrows along the side, started with ""profile"" when I did not want that format or look at all. \r When brought in to change it, I was rushed because he had other appointments waiting. It was clear he had not created my resume but cut and paste my name, education, and employment history into another completed resume. I even had to point out job experience that wasn't mine. \r He also only had one type and color resume paper. A resume service should have more than one option. more

The Worst experience! This company is over priced and under qualified. Totally dissatisfied with their product if you use them your wasting $$$ you could write a better resume yourself in your sleep more

Im sorry but i have to say Jody was very unprofesisonal. I needed my resume for an interview tuesday. I payed him a week before. The monday i was suppose to have my reume by, i called him to see if it was ready. He hasnt even started on it yet. I told him i needed asap. He said oh im gonna be a while before i can get to it. ill have it done for you tomorrow (the tuesday i needed it for) i said no i need it now! I hung up and went staright to his office and i litaraly felt like i had to force him to do it. Then when he was done he said oh make sure you recomend people to me and ill give you a discount (or something i dont rememner this was a while ago) I bit my tounge from what i wanted to say and said sure ill recomend people (as in recomend people to not hire you to write their resume.) more

Jody was late for our appointment. He will tell you how great a writer he is, show awards, articles he had wrote for publication and talk about his writing skills. He does not write your resume he farms it out. He will try to up sell, there will be a phone call in the middle of your consultation with a ""client"" who purchased his executive resume package and they are so happy, he will even put them on speaker phone so you can hear their conversation. He took several phone calls throughout the consultation to make it look like he was so busy, he works in a crappy little office. When I finally received the rough draft from the farmed out writer I was truly disappointed. It was poorly written and made absolutely no sense at all. Many phone calls to Janet to get it right until she said she was under paid and that was all she could do, she had already spent to much time on it. I paid $300 and got trash. Not one reply when I posted Jody's version of my resume. This guy is a loser, I wrote the check and before I got home it was cashed. He got me, my bad. Don't make the same mistake. He will bury this review with false 5 star reviews.....that's guaranteed! more

After being self employed for 12 years I thought it would be impossible to create a resume that reflected the hard work it takes to own and operate your own business. Jody helped me market my experiences to obtain a highly desirable job in medical device sales- in THIS economic climate! I will definitely be using and recommending his services in the future. The name of this business should be ""Rip-OFF Pro Services."" The owner has no interest in writing a quality resume based on you or your skills. As a matter of fact he will use a ""resume writer"" that you have never met or spoken with to write the resume. They will cut & paste your old resume into the supposed new resume. He will then tell you to make the corrections & do all the work. He has poor communication, is overpriced, does not keep his promises & in general is only out for your money. He will even offer to pay you $100 for any friend you will refer to him that uses his services. So buyer beware if you were referred by a friend. I do not recommend! more
