I contacted Jody because I was interested in having my resume professionally written. I made an initial appointment and had to cancel due to transportation issues and then, unfortunately, had to cancel the second appointment because after doing a little more research, I became aware of the potential cost. I decided that at this particular time, I could not afford to hire Jody. Should I have I figured this out prior to making the first call - sure - but I didn't, so I explained the situatin to Jody over the phone and apologized.

Had you been empathetic to my situation, wished me well and offered to assist me when I could afford your services, I would have saved your contact information and called you when my situation improved. That, my friend, is called good customer service. People who are treated well, come back, continue to use your services and recommend you to others.
As it stands right now, I will make sure that anyone who asks me about resume services in the furure knows not to contact you.
Perhaps, you would be wise to re-evaluate your approach.
