Everyone was nice and well qualified for the required work, I had a flooring problem and had to wait until someone could come back. They did and completed the work with great professionalism. I chose this company also because it was a neighborhood business that was christian based. more

The invoice and estimate were exact, even with having to guess out a bad area of the sub-floor. The installers of tile and wood floor were professional, polite and checked with us on every step of the installation. Was it the right product, was the pattern correct, they made recommendations on future care and cleaning. They cleaned up and hauled off any old trim etc. The more

EVERYONE WAS BVERY NICE AND THE WORK TURNED OUT GREAT BUT MY ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE TIMIMG. THE WORK WASNT STARTED OR FINISHED ON THE DATES WE AGREED ON. ORIGINALLY THE WORK WAS SUPPOSE TO BEGIN ON SEPT 4TH BUT DIDNT ACTUALLY BEGIN UNTIL SEPT 10TH. I WAS TOLD THE JOB WOULD BE COMPLETED ON THE 12TH AND IT WASNT COMPLETED UNTIL THE 14TH. SO I WAS INCONVIENCED ALOT BECAUSE OF POOR PLANNING. BUT AS I SAID THE FINISHED WORK WAS GREAT! FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I PAID FOR THE JOB I THINK THERE NEEDS TO BE BETTER PLANNING AND COMMUNICATION. more

I came to Jeff/Cardinal Flooring knowing the exact flooring I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. Jeff worked with me on price and assured me the installers would be professional and get the job done right. I can happily say, they did just that. I really do love my new floor, not to mention the price and service were great! Thank you, Jeff (and the installers!). I highly recommend Cardinal Flooring. PS I told Jeff, I often drove down Watson Rd and saw his business but would never have seriously considered them if I hadn't read the customer reviews on his website. I am glad I did. We enjoyed working with Jeff and Cardinal Flooring to install a new tile kitchen floor. Jeff made sure we picked out tile we would be happy with and suggested a pattern that added to the look of the floor. Price was competitive. The installers were professional and also worked hard to make sure we were happy. Their workmanship really shows as the floor is perfect. Our only problem was that the job was estimated to take 2.5 days and actually took 6+ days, so we were out of a kitchen for nearly a week. RESPONSE FROM Cardinal Flooring: Unfortunately there were unforeseen flooring issues after we pulled up the old floors. Resolving these issues meant two extra days of labor. The floors were done correctly and look beautiful. more

Jeff was very professional and the quote was competetitive. The installation was where the we had concerns because the installer chose to lay the carpet the opposite of what Jeff bid the seams show and are in the worst location you could have. The carpet was cut short in many places and there was glue left on the tile floor. The tile in the bathrooms was cut short and the caulking around the toilet is very poorly done. Jeff did address all of the concerns but the same installer did the repairs and they were really not done perfectly. We would use Cardinal Flooring again with the assurance that the same installer would not be involved. RESPONSE FROM Cardinal Flooring: This customer's complaint is valid and the issue has been addressed. This installer no longer works for Cardinal Flooring. We value our customers' feedback and strive to make sure that we give the best service possible. more

Jeff was a pleasure to deal with in negotiations. His installers were professional and courteous and did a fantastic job. Cardinal was $500+ cheaper than another local store that was about 20 minutes closer to me. Besides that, they are Christians which would have made me chose them even if they were more expensive. They were running late for installation & the store owner called me himself to apologize & explain the delay. Very good customer service. more

Our experience with Cardinal Flooring was very good, especially in terms of how responsive and communicative they were throughout the process. From the beginning, they gave time and attention to communicating with us about the project. They also offered us a reasonably priced deal. We were not sure what we would find when we tore up the carpeting and we knew that we might have to make decisions part-way through the project. Cardinal Flooring understood this and was flexible in allowing us to make decisions as we went. The crews that installed the wood and tile flooring not only knew how to put down a floor but they also knew how to listen and communicate. I decided to use Cardinal Flooring because it is a neighborhood business and a small business. I believe in supporting small, local businesses. Also, my personal interaction with the owner, Jeff, made me choose them. To date, I would recommend Cardinal Flooring. I have used them twice, for 2 flooring projects. One was a non-ceramic type of floor in the kitchen, which was well-referenced. The other was a hardwood overlay floor in the entryway hallway. Jeff worked with me on price points and I had the same installers on both efforts. The installers knew their craft, which is very important. I would encourage people to at least put Cardinal Flooring into the decision matrix in comparison to Lowe's or Home Depot. more
