John Carcaise built me a beautiful home in Conway. From start to finish I couldn't have asked for a better home builder. Julie was pleasant to work with an also very helpful when it came to designing the interior and advising on finishes. I am delighted with my home and the workmanship in it. I have just recently built a home with Carcaise Home Builders. My house is beautiful. John Carcaise was very intuitive about my concerns as a home builder; he and his family always made me feel very comfortable and eased throughout the home building process. I also have had (and am still having) warranty issues with Carcaise Homebuilder's. I moved into my house in 2005 (that's right, 3 years ago) and my driveway was also falling apart before I moved in. My gutters leaked from the start, my foundation is cracked and one of my windows still needs sealed. They continually put me on hold just hoping to wait me out. Pros: Good workmanship by the electrical contractor, framers and finish carpenters Cons: Horrible plumber. Horrible customer service. Does not stand by warranty. more

We bought a Carcaise Home in Brighton Fields. We are VERY disappointed in John Carcaise and his follow up on our one-year warranty. We had a water leak INSIDE the house for three months and the only way we were able to get it fixed was to make a sign and threaten to post it in our yard. In fact his sister sent us an unprofessional letter calling us COMPLAINERS. We had to have our whole yard dug up in the middle of January. This was after we paid $4000 to have our yard graded and backfilled, another task that was supposed to be completed by John Carcaise that was discussed at the closing. After 5 months our whole driveway started disintegrating. John informed me that it is not his responsibility to fix the driveway because he sub-contracts it out. We are in the process of filing a civil suit against John and his company with the local magistrate.
