We had them add a DVD over-head player. It is true that even though it says ""FREE INSTALL"" it isn't. They say it is because it depends on the type of car. We had a moon-roof that I guess made it more. But they were totally up front and told us how much it all would be. Omar was our salesman and Christa (I think that was her name) did the install. She was AMAZING! We had not had our SUV for more than a week and I couldn't figure out how to get the rear camera working on reverse and many other things. She took the time to teach me how to use stuff I already had in my car! We were able to do 12 months same as cash and that was a nice option for us. They did such a good job we went back and had them put in an alarm in our other car. I would totally recommend them to any of my friends. At least those two employees! It was a great experience. I was shocked because I was really scared reading all the online ratings for any company that does these types of things. GOOD JOB GUYS! I am sure our son will go there when he gets his own car in a year or two! : ) more

I went into by some door speakers for my vehicle. They played a couple of different speakers so I could make my choice. Ending up bying some great speakers and also an amp for a future subwoofer upgrade. When talking about the subwoofer upgrade they were unwilling to fit one in the area where my vehicle currently has one. They wanted to build a box for the speaker. I knew that the box would sound better but it was not what I wanted. I wanted the best sound with the stock look. I ended up not doing the upgrade of the sub with them. Installation was good except they broke a $10 piece I ended up by afterwards. Would do business with them again but with caution. more

CAR TOYS installed leather on both my 2011 KIA Soul and a red one belonging to Ron Tonkin KIA and completely ruined the leather leaving ""snail trail"" type marks on the leather on both vehicles. Ron Tonkin KIA recommended CAR TOYS to me because they are an ""approved vendor"" for the dealership. more

Went there to buy a stereo set up I'd seen in an ad. Price was advertised with installation (fine print said in most cars). Of course I knew beforehand installation would not end up being free, and I'd already priced out what it was worth to me. They did it fast and it looks OK. Installation and parts charges did add 50 percent more to the price of the stereo, but they told me that up front. The stereo works just fine, I think they know what they're doing for sure. Good customer service, they showed me all the features of the stereo and how to work them. Overall it was a decent experience - just don't go there thinking you're going to get the deal that's in the ad unless you buy whatever it is and carry it out yourself. If I were looking to spend under 200 bucks for a stereo unit I would go there again. more

Had a GPS put in my car and they said about 2 hours which actually took about 4. Also like one of the other reviewers, they were very friendly at first, but after the install, I had a question about the GPS and the sales person seemed very frustrated to show me how to use it. I guess it works so that is why I didn't give a 1, but I still was not happy with the overal service more

These people do not know what they are doing and they are a bunch of liars. They will break your car and then not bother to fix it. more

I purchased an XM radio from Car Toys on 82nd. Wow, they are ALL OVER YOU to make a sale but afterward, forget it! The install took 6 hours instead of 3-4 as quoted and when I went back in the store to pick up my car it was as if they had never seen me before! The guy just basically handed me my keys in said, ""It's out in back."" That's it! No explanation of how the install went, no going out to the car with me to show me how it worked -- NOTHING! I even had to ask about the original box (which was in the car). Pros: Really attentive to you when you're considering a purchase Cons: Totally ignore you once you've made a purchase more
