Nice enough to board up our door on a friday night after a break-in. Good start. 3 weeks goes by with no movement forward on getting a replacement. After much confusion between Caplan and their supplier, we ended up buying from the supplier, who indicated Caplan shouldnt do that kind of work. Caplan then calls us to rudely demand payment for the boarding up, for which we had never been invoiced. They demanded payment on the phone and refused to send an invoice. Awful treatment of customers. more

So the Caplan salesman recommended crash bars which has deterred robbers from getting in and out. And I advise who others who may experience others who may have these problems to call a Caplan Salesman. more

Caplan to the rescue 3/18/2009

After a bad storm a tree had fallen down and broken our back patio door window and it was very cold. So i called Caplan Brothers and they were here within an hour in the snow to measure within and had replaced the glass to the door within hours. They saved our heating bill and our lives. Thanks Caplan Brothers more

Poor installation... 4/15/2008

Caplan glass sucks -- do not use them! They installed glass to the front door of our business and it broke a month later due to improper installation. There was apparently no warranty available because I was supposed to be a glass expert and know the proper way to install the glass -- a bunch of BS. Try anywhere but here! more

For all your glass needs 8/14/2005

This is where my family shops for glass products. They cut shape fit and install your glass in as quick as possible. I once broke a window in school and they came right away to repair it so the children would not be cold. We were not that day thanks to caplan glass. Hooray!!! Glass is good the Caplan way. more

His brothers Ben, Aaron, Sol, and Meyer joined him to become the leading window glass replacement provider in Central Maryland. The company expanded with locations at Central Avenue, Caroline and Lombard Streets. and added aluminum storefront and windows to its product line.
