Our 4 Wiggle Worms 1/5/2012

Wonderful ladies work in this small tucked away shop. They take care of my 4 cocker spaniels and I have never had one complaint about them. And I also like how they honestly tell me how they act and not just sugar coat everything. I know my boys are hard to handle, but I won't take them any other place. I have one cocker, Buddy that doesn't like many people, but he always seems to do great there. I have seen them with him. They baby talk him. I recommend this shop to all my clients that I come across that have dogs. \r You ladies are great. Keep up the good job you do.\r You have a loyal customer for life. more

Gouged, bald, and itchy 12/29/2011

I've taken our senior dog, Bonnie, a Bouvier des Flandres to this shop twice. I have groomed her myself for the previous 10 years but needed to have her professionally groomed the last few months to help me out time-wise. Bonnie is easy to groom and is cooperative, quiet, and patient. Bonnie is 70-odd pounds and is a slow-moving senior.\r \r The first time I brought Bonnie in, they charged us 60.00 for a simple 'puppy cut'. This price is probably at the high end, but we agreed to it and the cut turned out fine. The issue we had was that Bonnie limped for 3 days after the grooming. At the time, I was not sure if it was caused by rough handling or was a coincidence.\r \r After the first grooming, the owner told me that she would keep the price at 60.00 for the next time we came in.\r \r I made another appointment in mid-December. When Bonnie and I arrived for her grooming, the receptionist told me that it would be higher than 60.00. Then, the owner came in and asserted that it would be 85 more

the best care! 1/11/2011

I have two Springers and a crazy poodle. I have taken them to other shops and had my dogs traumatized. After the first time my older Springer Beau, was more relaxed and happy to be there. My poodle Missy is difficult to groom and had been injured by other groomers in the past. I was taken to the grooming table and shown that i had not been brushing her like i should. They took the time to show me how i could do a better job brushing and caring for my baby girls fur. I have never had a bad experience here. They are very friendly and informational. They take the time to make sure you understand. I LOVE them I would never take my dog anywhere else. more

Canine Designs - Hazardous to your pets' health and hide 9/10/2010

I took my thirteen year old Tibetan terrier, Domino, to Canine Designs once and there's no way in Hell I would ever subject him to such rough, uncaring treatment again. \r I had been grooming him myself, at home, for years. I brush him out, clip his fur using professional grooming clippers, scissors, and the oil used to brush out mats, bathe him, clip his nails, file them, and remove any build-up on his teeth. I'm untrained and learned various techniques over the years through experience... and even when i first began grooming him when he was five, for cost effectiveness, I never had a problem getting the job done without hurting him in any way. He's a very patient, cooperative dog, not just with me, but with everyone. He's laid-back, doesn't complain, and will quietly sit through all sorts of ridiculousness for hours, content just to be near you. \r So when I went to pick him up from Canine Designs I never expected him to be shaved down to the skin - which was not what I had asked them more

Wonderful groomers! They take care of all 3: Teacup Poodle, Sheltie, and a Shiitzu (rescued). The best Sheltie cut I have found! They do fight over who is going to groom the teacup though! LOL more
