We recently moved to Bloomington & have an unneutered dog, so our choices are limited in where we can board him. Canine Companions has a nice staff, but each of the 3 times ended negatively. \r
After the 1st stay, our dog had lots of wounds: a 1-inch diameter scab on his cheek, the other cheek had a 2-inch scratch/scab, many scabs all over his head/body, & another large scrape on his elbow. After reading reviews, I suspect he got into a fight with another dog, but the supervision was lacking. I think they're understaffed to supervise the number of dogs they get over long weekends. The front desk staff seemed genuinely concerned & told us to bring him in if he showed any signs of sickness or infection. He did end up with diarrhea & vomiting, so we brought him in 2 days later to the onsite vet who gave him a shot & ointment for the wounds. I decided to give them another chance since they were nice about it. \r
