Editorial review from Citysearch 10/15/2013

We recently moved to Bloomington & have an unneutered dog, so our choices are limited in where we can board him. After the 1st stay at Canine Companions, our dog had lots of wounds, some quite large. After reading reviews, I suspect he got into a fight with another dog but the supervision was lacking. I think they're understaffed to supervise the number of dogs they get on weekends. After the 2nd stay, our dog came home with kennel cough. I couldn't understand why they hadn't already had him on medication. The treatment for kennel cough wasn't covered by the Carefree Guarantee. I brought my dog in a 3rd time, but since he still had cough suppressant pills left the General Mgr, Eugene refused to take him, even though he was well. He was nasty to me from the start. He indicated I lied about where my dog got kennel cough in the 1st place, then asked why I bothered coming back. Very rude! Eugene has absolutely no care or concern for his customers, let alone their dogs. more
