It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days on business. The hotel has a great location for commuting to Fort Hood. Bring your own hair dryer if you have thick hair or you will waste a lot of time trying to use the ""pretend"" hair dryer on the wall. The Hotel seems to be clean but the housekeeper left my bed unmade for two days. I don't know why and I wasn't pleased with that since I make my bed at home everyday. It is a perfect Hotel if you are traveling or on business. Breakfast was okay, nothing special and the early bird misses out on items that they are still setting up for later diners. The Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I never had an issue with the free Wi-Fi and was very happy about that! All in all a very good stay. more

One of the nicest Holiday Inns I've been privileged to stay in over the years! You will especially like the three outdoor cabanas poolside complete with comfortable seating for several people, ceiling fans, side tables and TVs. The restaurant does a good job with its service as well. more

I have stayed here for two nights. It is just about like every other Holiday Inn I have stayed at. It needs a few updates. The wifi is a little slow and connectivity is hit and miss. All those things could rate a mediocre review at best. But, there is a huge difference here. They have something I have missed for years, customer service. From Dino and Kevin arranging my rides. To the pleasant greeting from Alexis and Martha. Even Dianne's extra bubbly personality and her greeting me made the stay here the single best stay I have had in the US. I now look forward to my next trip to the Fort Hood area. I am only staying here next time. My congratulations to the management and the staff here. more

This hotel was AMAZING! I read a few reviews some good some bad so; I decided to see for myself and I'm glad I did. The front desk ladies were all great especially Daneshika. (I know I just killed her name) Each time I left the room I was asked if everything was ok and told to let them know if I needed ANYTHING. We ended up checking out a day sooner and even though it was after noon we were still only charged for one day. (Didnt find out until we were actually charged) The lady thanked my son for his service and wished us well. I will definitely stay here again. more

You can tell that this hotel is in a newer area/building. The lobby, restaurant and bar are all in a same are but well distributed. The business center (two computers, desk, printers, and cabinets) are located in a hidden corner. No doors - convenient. The pool is small but at least it has one.The rooms are very spacious with a large I'd window- thank his die natural light because the lighting in the while room and bathroom is not that great. \r The room is very basic in furniture. I like the accent wall but they forgot to place some art work on the other one. The tv doesn't swivel all the way to the comfortable chair and ottoman on the other side of the room. However there are tons of plugs around. As mentioned, lighting in the bathrooms is very poor, but the shower and shower head are awesome. Love plenty of cabinet space. And the best part is the room has microwave and fridge. The location of the hotel is not ideal. You definitely have to drive to get you to places especially food, but I guess everybody has to drive in this town regardless. I think the shuttle can take you within 3 miles more

We stayed at this hotel about a year ago and decided to return since our first experience was good. On this visit we had traveled all day, stopping to visit relatives in the area so by the time we got to the hotel we were ready to settle in, have some dinner and relax for the evening. The ladies at the front desk assured us the hotel restaurant served good food, so we decided to try it despite the fact that we were the only people in the dining room. We were pleasantly surprised by good service and good food. The next morning we decided to return for breakfast and once again we were greeted with good food and good service. Since we once again had the dinning room to ourselves we even got to pick the TV channel and were able to catch the First Baptist Church service. I assume this hotel has more business during the week, but on our Saturday night stay we had quite personal service and a very nice experience. We may have to plan our future trips to spend Saturday night in Killeen. more

This has been a pleasant place to stay for long term business in the Fort Hood area and I would stay here again because the staff is nice, the rooms are clean, and it takes 5-10 minutes to get to the front gate of Fort Hood. It is a lot better than hotels I have stayed at in the past for this price point. more

I brought my pets with me and stayed for a month. The staff were always friendly to both myself and my dogs. They seemed to go out of their way to assist me. Anytime I needed something they were willing to provide or add it to my room. more

Christmas Holiday stay with family member stationed at Fort Hood. Late evening check-in, upon entering room (2 queen suite) we requested a roll-away bed. Jennifer was at our door moments later with bed and came back to the door a second time with bed linens (required two trips to our room to provide us with all that was needed). Her customer service was outstanding, very accommodating, and very friendly. Throughout our 3 night stay, all hotel stay were extremely helpful. Upon the morning of check-out, Marinia (sp?) was fast and friendly.Next time I'm in Killeen, TX and need a hotel room, this will be one of the first places I call. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very out going and customer service focused. Additionally, the room rate was very affordable.Thank you Candlewood Suites - Killeen. more

No complaints. The room was clean and very cozy. The bed is a bit small to be considered a king but again I honestly can't complain. The price was decent. There was a cute little kitchen, a closet and a recliner. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to a friend. more

Excellent size room for my needs, little kitchenette and the bathroom was excellent! I'm a coffee person, I love Maxwell Coffee so that was a awesome surprise. I didn't need housekeeping but I was able to get more coffee. I will definitely stay again. more

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Room #216 is close to the elevator, but I never heard any noise from it. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchenette consists of everything you need. Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, utensils...etc. Perfect for extended stays. The food court, shoppette and Chili's Restaurant are all walking distance. The rooms also have DVD players and you may rent movies for free from the front desk. There is a nice laundry facility also,free of charge. more

Loved our stay the staff was the best. the hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. My room was cleaned on time and the staff was always ready to help with what ever need came up. Cynthia and Lanie and front desk were great and Stefanie and Liz always kept my room clean. The best home away from home. more
