Candlewood Suites Killeen - Fort hood Area

I had a great stay at the Candlewood Suites in Killeen. I thought I had made a reservation and mistakenly had but in another town. They were full but still manage to squeeze me in and still gave me a very good rate. The team there went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They knew I had to leave very early the next morning and had my bill ready along with giving me a great place to to stop for lunch on my way to San Antonio. I felt like it was all about me, but notice they really are wonderful to everyone there. more

I highly recommend Candlewood Suites Killeen TX for a variety of reasons. I was placed there by my company for business and was skeptical at first. After arriving, however, I found it to be a fantastic place (and I'm pretty particular). The room and hotel amenities were great for me. As well, the hotel was quiet (possibly because most people staying there are on business) so I didn't feel like I was in a hotel as much and I could sleep and have some peace when I wanted. The best part of staying at Candlewood Suites in Killeen, though, was the staff. Yamil and Heather helped make the experience great. Heather brought me tea (which I did drink Heather! :) when she surely didn't have to! And Yamil took care of my billing questions with ease. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. more

I had the pleasure of staying at candlewood suites on florence road in Killeen, Texas twice this summer. I was so impressed with the politeness of the staff ( Matthew, Cindy, & Mary) that I returned 2 weeks later to the same location. My check- in was flawless and they shared their experience and knowledge of the area eagerly. It was my first time staying in Texas and their kindness and honesty about the area has really influenced me to make Texas my home in the next year. The suite was clean ( thank you Frenchie !) and housekeeping kept the common areas spotless as well. I have stayed at 5 star resorts around the world and this hotel was just as nice. I will definitely return to this location during my upcoming house hunting trips. It's one thing to have the amenities you need and a bonus when those amenities come with polite and positively charged individuals who are eager to make you feel comfortable. I returned with my kids and they were equally satisfied. That says a lot since they are teenagers, 13 & 17 with no complaints. They didn't have a pool however, 40 seconds across the parking lot to the sister Holiday Inn was not an issue. My son enjoyed the modern gym equipment and even did the laundry in the accompanying laundry room, which was free!! Plenty of movies (free) at the front desk and no need to make a midnight run for snacks because there was a cupboard available with everything from oatmeal for breakfast to candybars. We didn't use the cupboard but it was nice to have available. I loved having my own kitchen fully stocked with dishes and everything to fix a meal. Had the feel of a resort studio. more

This hotel is our favorite in Killeen. The staff is always courteous and kind. Any requests I had were always taken into account and handled immediately. Our dogs are very loved here and are spoiled with treats and love by everyone. I will come to this hotel over and over again. it is like home and everyone here treats you like family... more

Candlewood suites is a wonderful place to stay the staff was exelent while a female staff member mindy shined very well, and alex also a staff member was fun and exciting I especially liked the free breakfast on wednesday and my room was very clean and organized, The hotel also allows you to bring your pets insted of leaving them behind, and i loved the free laundry and the free movies. I loved the verity of pantry items, our month stay here was very graet i hope to come back in the future. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel more

Hotel was very clean, and well maintained. Reception desk was very nice, Twonia, the evening receptionist, did a wonderful job and made me feel welcomed. The staff was very professional with one minor flaw, one of the day receptionists had facial piercings and what not. This clean quiet comfortable room has made me decide to look for Candlewoods in my future travels. In addition to being of high quality for its price range it has added touches of extra plush towels and linens and an ultra comfortable bed. The gentleman who checked me in was not only pleasant and professional: he also directed me to the best Mexican food around. more

Stayed at other Candlewoods this is right at the top of my best hotel experience. I stay approximately 120 room nights annually and will definitely have my travel coordinator book here again.Kudos to the management and staff who greeted me by name as I entered, exited and passed in the corridors. more

I found the Killeen Candlewood Suites a pleasure to stay at. The staff was so friendly and very helpful when I asked for recommendations on various topics. We had a cat with us and that was one reason I checked them out. Very nice to have a full fridge, toaster, dishes, stove top, & microwave. Perfect, basic accommodations. I was so relieved to find such a comfortable place to stay. more

The staff was very helpful and understanding of all the needs of us. My favorite was Christine that helped me through my 3 month stay. She is very motivated and very pleasant. During my stay, she had a birthday that reminded me of my daughters. I would definitely stay here again. more

I am impressed with this Killeen based Candlewood Suites and it initially stems from the first rate staff. Heather and Yamil, along with the cleaning and maintenance staff ensured that my stay was perfect. It is refreshing to stay in a hotel where the staff deeply cares for each and every ?resident? and makes you feel at home. This is a true indication of quality people and a reflection of high-level management. The location is very close to stores and restaurants as well as post, making the commute to all needed areas extremely quick and easy. The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet, and have all the amenities for a long term stay. Based upon the outstanding service, staff and enjoyable stay?the Killeen Candlewood Suites will now be my first choice when visiting Killeen/Fort Hood, and I highly recommend it to fellow travelers. more

The new Candlewood Suites on Ft Hood is beautiful - very clean rooms, hallways, lobby, and breakfast area. Breakfast is excellent! Wednesday evening manager reception with soda and food is a nice plus. Room is spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds. Free WIFI. Super friendly staff at the front desk helped me multiple times during the week - always with a smile and always willing to find out answers to my questions. Highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Fort Hood for any reason. more

My wife, dog, cat, and I spent a week in this hotel. The hotel staff is friendly, the accommodations are outstanding, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The one thing some may find off-putting is the walk to the next hotel over (Holiday Inn Express) to get breakfast, but it is complimentary for military. The pet-friendliness was great, and we had a great stay here. more

This place has some of the most friendliest staff that any hotel could ask for. Dorene, Yamil, Leonard, Ethan, Matthew, Daniella and Lucia are just awesome people. They are very accommodating to the guests and the house keepers do a great job keeping the place clean. I would highly recommend staying at this place. more
