I am so grateful to the staff of California Surgical Institute. I am the type of person who gets very nervous about any surgery and when I had my appointment for breast reduction I was a nervous wreck, but when I got to the office, the staff was so friendly and courteous. They assured me that everything will be fine and when I saw Dr. Smaili and he explained every little detail I had a bout the surgery, I was so happy. I had breast reduction surgery and every day when I wake up and look at the mirror I say thank you Dr. Smaili for being such a great surgeon and for being an attentive gentleman. You have made my life so easy and your touch made another person so happy. Keep up the good work and I gladly refer every person I know to you because I know very well that they are in good hands. Again, I extended my appreciation to the staff who were so courteous and well informed. more

Dr. Smaili and his staff were wonderful. They made me feel very comfortable. Choosing a doctor isn't always easy, I has desired breast augmentation for quite some time, but had not found the right doctor. I had seen other doctors in the past, but had not been able to make a decision. Dr. Smaili truly made me feel at ease with my decision of getting breast augmentation. It's been 5 days since by breast lift and augmentation and I feel great! I don't have words to explain how happy I am with Dr. Smaili his staff and overall with everything. I went into surgery calm and relaxed, the nurses were great! Dr. Smaili and his whole team are definitely the best! more

I did my surgery in January. I was very skeptical about the doctors performing the breast augmentation procedures. I did not want someone who would do a sloppy job! I did a lot of research, and heard my friends talking about how great Dr.Smaili is. He was very professional and increased my cup from an A to a full C. I am very satisfied with the results. I could not have asked for more in a surgeon. I would do it all again with Dr. Smaili if I could. Best advice I could give is to go about a cup bigger than you want! Mine came out a little smaller than expected, but I am still very happy with my increased confidence now :) He is definitely one Doctor I can recommenced to others. Since the first day of my consultation, Dr. Smaili asked me about what is my expectation and when i did, he respectfully agreed that everybody does want to be in a ""perfect shape"", then after, he explain to me what is the outcome if i really wanted to have my body sculpted like it was buffed out on a gym. he said that, as time goes and i aged, i might be asking for another one as my belly flab and chest sagged. I think he really knows what he is talking about. so i asked him what is best for me. So i let him decide what is best for me though i was quite scared that time, a bit. Since i was not the techie like anybody else, i found it hard to look or make way to give California Surgical Institute over the net (since i was quite far from his office) my sincerest gratitude to what they did to me. good thing my 14 year old son knows how to search on google. haha! Dr. Smaili was right, at this point in time, i can say he is brilliant! and he really know what is to be done and not be. I would also like to thank his staff who makes me feel comfortable for their monthly update they're giving me. i can say i love them (and i would kiss them for that)already cause they helped me maintain my figure. Up to now, my friends keeps on bugging me why do i look like this even if i dont go to gym or run a mile to loosen fat which i had before. it was very natural. i am very happy i trusted Dr. Smaili. May the maker be with you guys! keep up the good work. Im planning to reveal my secret after this message and let them rush into your clinic. PS. The staff treats you like GOLD when you need a consult, when they need your money, and during surgery. The after care is a completely different story. The doctor was great but I would absolutely NOT recommend this company based on his staff. They are rude, uncaring and have absolutely NO people skills. While waiting in the lobby I also see them treating other people like garbage(over the phone and in person) and just today had a woman simply walk out because she had waited too long for her appointment. If you use them, expect good results, but also expect multiple rescheduled appointments, no phone calls back when promised (even after allergic reaction to meds) waiting at least an hour for appointments and clearly seeing them take consults before you as well as rough handling and uneducated answers to questions. Last week I waited on the surgery table over an hour freezing cold, totally prepped because the doctor had two walk in consults that he needed to tend to rather than me. Today I had to deal with them telling me I was simply out of luck when they gave me a compression garment that didn't even fit. It fell apart when I tried to make it tighter and they refused to replace it with one that did fit when it was their fault to begin with. I have been to many different facilities and met many different people, but California Surgical was my favorite. The staff and doctors here really spend QUALITY one on one time with you. Not only during your initial consultation, but every time i went in, i had a great customer service experience with them. The doctors make you feel as if you were important and not just another number in there book. I def would recommend this facilty to anyone. I had surgery done in the upland location, I had a tummy tuck and liposuction and I love it!!! everyone that works there was so caring and made me feel comfortable because i was soo nervous but they just made everything feel better. The girls in the front are so nice and the nurses are the best. Dr. Smaili did an excellent job. once i get into my 50's i will so go back to him to do my face lift and most likely more lipo and a fat transfer....I love him hes the best i will so recommend everyone i know to go with him!!!!!! thaks a lot Dr. Smaili!!! more

My Dr. Rocks! Dr. Smaili preformed a rhinoplasty on me two weeks ago and I never even dreamed that I would feel the way I do. Now, I am not one of those vein California gals! I had a deformity and breathing problems that left me no choice but to go under the knife. I researched for what seemed like forever. I met this Dr. And he was so easy to talk to and really understood what I wanted and why. The staff was also great from start to finish. If you are thinking about having this procedure done make sure you see this Doctor before you give your money to anyone! Pros: Doc really cares more

I am just three months post breast augmentation and I am so happy. Dr. Smaili (smiley) from California Surgical Institute is truly an artist and such a caring doctor. I interviewed 2 doctors before him and the moment I met him I knew he was the surgeon I was looking for. I would recommend anyone and everyone to him.
