I too, wish that I could give a negative rating. I hate to do this over the internet but seeing how unprofessional you guys were when dealing with you over this weekend I won't put to much thought into it. first off, we had heard wonderful things about your bakery hence why we chose you for such an important event that can never be ""remade""seeing as how Hudson only turns ONE once. but the cake was an absolute nightmare for us. then on top of the fondant falling off you didn't include the smash cake, when asked where it was you threw a ""if i had more cake mix, or more cakes made i would, but im out of cake mix"" what kind of bakery runs out of cake mix?!? that's NO way to run a business. We are incredibly disappointed in the way the cake turned out, then on top of it, how they handled the situation, by simply NOT responding. I will not recommend the cake box ever and certainly will let people know about this experience. Its been told that the positive mouth will spread the word to only one but the negative to ten and then some. remember that when opening a business that is completely based off of customer satisfaction. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's 9th birthday . I found a pink and black rockstar cake online that I wanted them to copy. When I picked up the cake it matched the picture exactly and it was delicious. All the guests commented on how great it was. It was fresh and homemade-tasting. I will definitely order from them again. Thanks Cake Box!!! more

I had thought they would ask details about the cake, like did we want fondant or regular and decoration details. I had to tell this woman (who could have been friendlier) a lot of things and it really worried me hoping they would do it right. When we came to pick it up we weren't greeted and no one asked if we liked the cake. the decorating was OK, they really could have put more loops for the bow, it didn't look right, and there was a flaw in the side where the icing was coming off. Now, about the flavor: I had asked for chocolate, not some kind of ripoff of chocolate with no flavor!!!!! IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST TASTING CAKES EVER!!!!!!! We asked our dinner party if anyone wanted to take some home, no one did because the flavor was horrible, or should I say what flavor it did have!!!! We threw the cake away when we got home. Please, don't order from them! more
