I LOOOOOOVE this place. Even though it is kind of a hole in the wall place its the best place to go for a slice of pizza and not to mention the best ceasar salad I have ever tasted. The staff is always nice and service is great. Just went there recently and while waiting for my take out the man who I'm assuming is the manager and I had a very nice conversation!! Cant wait to go back. Only downfall is they are closed on Mondays =( more

WORST SERVICE AND MANAGER! 11/6/2010

I was driving down Murphy Road, and the box car that they deliver in was going about 65 miles an hour, then proceeded to cut me off. When I honked my horn, the driver of the car flicked me off. I called the restaurant to report the driver and talk to a manager and when I asked to, the girl that picked up the phone told me that he wasn't in. So, I asked when the next time he would be in would be. She told me she didn't know and I couldn't talk to him anyways. She asked if I was a customer and I said yes, and then she said ""well if you are looking for a job, call between 2-4"". I went on to tell her that I wasn't looking for one, I just needed to speak to a manager. She asked what the call was referring to about four times, and each time I told her that it wasn't any of her concern and all I wanted to do was talk to the manager. It went on for a good 5 minutes until I finally hung up. Later, I went in to the restaurant to see if the manager was in then, and the kid of a manager was the one driving! He told me that he didn't cut me off, and he didn't do anything wrong. He ARGUED with a customer! Then the woman who answered the phone came up and argued also. They were all EXTREMELY rude, and treated me like trash. The customers who were in the restaurant were staring at the manager and this girl as they yelled and got loud with me. That's embarrassing on their part. I wouldn't waste my time or money at this place, ever. The MANAGER was rude...imagine what the service would be like. more

Terrible service and attitude 3/2/2010

On a recent visit during lunch, I was greeted with a glance and a roll of the eyes by the worker sitting at the bar watching TV. He got up and handed me a menu without a word much less a greeting. I preceded to wait 15 minutes for a cup of soup to go. When I asked how much longer, I was told a few minutes. I told the waitress that I had to leave. I only have 30 minutes for lunch and my time was up. I asked for a refund. I was rudely told that once the order was started, I could not get a refund. After a few more minutes the worker in the kitchen stood at the counter with my order in hand but said nothing to me, my back was to him. When I turned around finally, I asked him why he did not let me know he was there with my order? To which he said, ""Have a nice day."" You would think that with only 2 tables occupied during lunch time, the employees there would welcome more business and treat their customers with more respect. Perhaps my order wasn't large enough to bother with good service. Too bad to because the food is really good. But I don't need to be treated so rudely by someone I am paying. Pros: delicious food Cons: terrible customer service more

Great pizza, service, and people 9/5/2008

This place is very good. Everything about it is good, the service the food, the people too. When I go to buy a pizza they take everything down listening to my every request. The prices are reasonable and they even give a basket of hot rolls with your meal (except when you get pizza delivered). The house salad, is good and the dressing is absolutely fantastic. Their pizza is very fresh and of good quality too. I recommend this for a family or couple experience. In Cafe Roma there is a very friendly climate. There is also soft lighting and italian music playing in the backround. The service is fast and the food is good. I highly recommend this place to anybody. Pros: service, atmosphere, people, food, etc. Cons: small space more

GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE 7/5/2008

SERVICE 5* Friendly\r FOOD 5* Delicious\r DECOR 5* Light and Relaxing\r PRICE 5* $9 for Eggplant Parmigiana big enough for two, delicious salad and yummy, hot rolls\r \r When I call ahead to place my order I get a nice greeting on the phone. Merci! I order Eggplant Parmigiana, My Favorite entree. My meal will be ready for pick up in fifteen minutes. Perfect timing. I walk in to the small but beautifully decorated restaurant and I'm greeted with smiles and friendly service. It's late, 9:15 PM and there's only one other couple in the restaurant. As I wait a moment for my food I notice the soft lighting and Italian Music. I feel very relaxed. The next minute my piping hot food is brought out, again with a smile and friendly service. I almost regret having to leave the restaurant, but I pay and take my food home with me. As I sit here enjoying my meal I realize that I will never be able to finish it in one sitting. Not only do I have Eggplant Parmigiana, but I also have spaghetti, a salad and rolls that all come complimentary with my meal. My only problem is, do I save the left overs for my sweet husband or do I hide them for later. I make my decision, this is just too good to share, he can eat Ramen Noodles! That's when I decide that if I want Cafe Roma to be able to beat this slow economy then I better let others know just how good they are. \r I have been to Cafe Roma several times and though it is small, with only about 20 tables, I have never had to wait for a seat. I do wish there was a bit more space in the dinning area. Also, if you like Martinis with your Italian food (and who doesn't) you'll just have suck-it-up. Cafe Roma doesn't have a liquor license. The cool thing about the lack of a liquor license is that you get to bring your own wine. A waiter comes to your table, ready to serve up your wine by the time you place your order. I highly recommend Cafe Roma for dinner dates and small family dinners. Pros: service is great, food is delicious and hot Cons: small seating area more
