I normally use the drive thru service when it is not out of order. Prescriptions are filled much faster if you go into the store and hand it to them. Other than that, you may wait as long as 4 or more hours for a prescription. If you are in a hurry, don't count on CVS to fill in a hurry.
If i do end up going into the store itself, i like to purchase their shampoos and conditioners. They have good quality salon products, as well as your normal grocery store shampoos and conditioners.
If you have a CVS card you can receive some discounted items, but watch out for limits on these sales. Sometimes the limits are not posted and you will pay full price for what you think you are getting on sale.
Their cosmetic section has a pretty decent variety. The store is clean, and the cosmetic section seems to be well manicured, and items don't seem to be thumbed through.
