Looking Forward to Renting from CRI Again! 3/2/2011

My husband and I have a lot of experience with CRI Properties. We rented a residential home through them for 7 months and then we used their real estate agent Anette Chrisley when we bought a home. Because we are a military family, we ended up having to sell the home 2 years after we bought it and Anette made the transaction as easy as possible for us. We had to have a few repairs done before we sold it and she helped us find people to do the repairs that worked with our budget. We're coming back to Jacksonville this summer and I'm definitely going to rent from CRI again. - Patricia J more

I had to fight CRI Properties to get my security deposit returned to me. As a negotiated settlement, they kept $150 of it. Be sure you document everything, inside and out, keep photos with date/time stamps and make sure you are present for the move out inspection. more

The Bad Reputation is Legit 11/13/2010

Upon arriving to Jacksonville NC, I believed in the honesty, integrity and the extraordinary level of expertise that CRI Present to the city of Jacksonville to have. I purchased my property on 110 Woodlake Court as an investment property and CRI has been managing it since 2004. \r \r My first concern is the professionalism executed by CRI as being advocates for me as the owner of the property. When we received the key to our property the house was absolutely out of regulation as far as being move-in ready for another entity to occupy it. \r \r Note: \r Exhibit A: There was an overwhelming amount of fleas dwelling within the property that overtook us when we arrived. We had to have the exterminator spray 2 times due to the amount of fleas here. No Ethics, don't do business. 2/3/2010

I read the only one review of this company that seems to be right on the money. I was involved in a for sale by owner purchase that CRI represented by Tom Nielson and during the closing he attempted to sneak in a form for my wife and I to sign that would have cost us thousands. We signed on with a friend real estate agent of Tom's and after being run around like idiots we dumped him. We signed a buyers agreement yet it did not involve for sale by owners. If Tom was successful in having us sign the document at closing stating he represented us in this sale we would have owed his buddy thousands of dollars that he could have sued us for. His ethics were far from what any marine would embrace or any other service member that I know or would want to deal with. He turned to the lawyer and attempted to get him to help him pursuade us to sign this document and the lawyer did not speak a word toward Tom's assurances that it was ok. We did not sign the document to say the least and would more

BEST LIARS IN JACKSONVILLE! 3/21/2008

This company is absolutely the worst real estate/property management company ever! Please don't waste your time with this company. Just buy your own own place or use anyone else. \r \r When you rent from them, they pretend that they will fix anything that goes wrong with the property. But when you move in.. it's a different story. They only look out for their best interest.\r \r As for renters, don't expect much except for living in an overpriced house. I've stayed home and waited for maintenance to come. They never show up on time and make you wait for repairs. I baked for weeks in the summer in the hot apartment when I was 7 months pregnant.\r \r Our next door neighbors were shocked because we were paying $110/month more than they were for the same exact property. They are liars when they say they "may" raise your rent. They will raise your rent!\r \r They love to blame your appliances for all the problems even if they are brand new with warranties. They delayed repairs for months more

  • The History of CRI Properties CRI Properties opened its doors in December 1998, in a second-floor office bullpen space above Greer Garricks Office supply store on New Bridge Street. Our initial roster included three agents and one office staff person. Soon after we opened, Petey the parakeet perched on the sill of an open window and was welcomed as our first pet.
