CR Property Management

We lived in a home managed by CR Property Mgmt for just over 4 years (through 1/2014). During that time, they were fantastic landlords. We had never rented before and ways heard horror stories so we were a little nervous but it turns out we were spoiled. Anytime we had an issue, it was addressed almost immediately. Every technician/company that they sent out was timely, professional, and attentive. The staff are great people, always friendly and helpful. The same was true when we moved out. They were flexible with our move out date, as our escrow on our new home was delayed. They sent our security deposit refund back within a few weeks and were completely fair on any incidentals they subtracted. If we needed a property management company to care for our home, we would absolutely trust them. As a Renter, we have and will continue to refer them to others. They are true professionals. more

Yes, I recommend CR Property if you are a tenant. As with any move in there are little glitches that are unforseen. I received call backs and returned emails. Always available. The little incidental issues are being resolved. No problems here. I have a beautiful new home and i couldn't be happier. I look forward to a long and cordial business relationship. I dealt with Diane and Valerie. Both professionals. Just a couple of the new move in incidents, but always get a response in a professional time spand. I would NOT recommend this company for renters. It is probably exemplary for the home owner, but for the tenant you must follow every letter of rental laws. There is no flexibility with this company and that can be very costly for the tenant. \r \r If you decide to rent from this company, be sure that you are not rushed through your initial walk- through. Be meticulous. Get everything in writing. I suggest walking through with a camera or video camera. I am finally a homeowner! Before buying my home I rented from CR Property for 4 years. Their staff was outstanding to work with, especially during the move out. Their lease documents were straight forward and detailed to what I needed to do to get my Security Deposit refunded in FULLY. I liked that so there were no surprises in the end. I got a full refund!!!! I realize that each property they manage has a different homeowner. Some owners do not mind spending money to keep their homes in great condition. I was very lucky to rent a home where making any kind of repairs and/or maintenances was not an issue. As a new homeowner, I now have to pay for everything myself. I really appreciate that while I rented, they had that responsibility. Oh, those were the good ole days. more

Initially I received excellent service and attention until they replaced everyone in the office that was any good. Now that Andy is handling things, not only do they ignore my phone calls and letters, they conveniently claim there is nothing in my file regarding past phone calls or letters. I have a serious leak that they have ignored for 2 years. Now there is mold. Leaving me no choice but to go to the health department. Any promise of old carpet replacement was not kept. I agree, it is sometimes hard to know if its the management company or the owner but I do know this company has a bad reputation in Simi Valley. more

I recommend C R Property Management to all homeowners who would like to rent their homes or Condos. I have had great success with them for over a year. They take your property and treat it as their own. Its your investment that they are protecting, and giving you peace of mind. Andy is very helpful with any questions you may have. I am satisfied with the way this company is run. more

It is a shame that a bad tenant is allowed to post such lies, and untruths about a GREAT company, They have managed my property for several years and have done a FABULOUS job....Then Arlene comes along and leaves the place a mess and tries to get me to wavie rent without a notice..no way...the company stood up for me and my investment......GREAT JOB CR PROPERTY more

This is an unfair property management company and I hope you choose another property managent company. This one is horroble. Please do not go through this company. They charged me for a month that i was not in their place. They claim they could not rent it fast enough. Even the manager from the apts said it depends what mood the owner is in. She was even surprised that I received a dollar back from them. more
