CC's Bridal Wear

My daughter, a friend, and I visited this shop on a Sat. with an appointment. Daughter filled out a card with the price of the gown we could afford. Maybe that price, a $2500 limit, was what caused the inattention to us. They were 20 min. late after our appointment time with no explanation that they were running behind. When my daughter went to try on dresses, my friend and I weren't given any champagne, water, or even offered a seat as there were two other brides with mothers/friends in front of their mirrors. We had to ask for a chair. There was no room for our daughter to even see what the dress looked like on until one of the other brides to be left. The saleswoman who waited on us was very knowledgeable about the dresses and fabrics, but none of what we were shown was over $800. I got the feeling that she thought we were wasting her time. I wouldn't recommend this shop for personalized service at all--matter of fact, we found a dress later that afternoon at another shop where we were the only customer scheduled for that time, had wonderful service, chairs, mirrors, drinks, and paid for it with cash!! CC's does a great job with initial fittings to rope you in to the idea that they are customer oriented. After you purchase however it's a different story. We bought my daughter's dress there. She went back with her bridesmaids to look for their dresses and they wouldn't measure them until after they had purchased a dress. She went another day with a friend to show her her dress and they wouldn't allow it because she didn't have an appt. We live in Orlando so we are making a great effort everytime we go to St. Pete. The final straw came when my daughter wanted to schedule a fitting and they would not do a fitting on a Sat. Those are reserved for ""new customers"" buying dresses. My daughter would have had to take a day off work to drive to St. Pete for a fitting. We ended up picking up her dress and fitting it in Orlando which means we got very little of their service! My Mom and I have been to 6 stores in the Tampa/St. Pete area and CCs was by far the best experience. The have the best selection and our bridal consultant was not pushy like they are at some of the other stores - she showed us a great range of dresses in our price range. more

CC's Bridal really came through to ensure I had a beautiful designer dress the day of my wedding. Their services are greatly appreciated. more
