They were hired to reshingle the roof and their initial quote was not final price. Basically bid it low to get the job. Clean up was horrible, I had to walk around the yard and clean up stuff a year later. And to top it all off, I had a leak in my garage after they were done and nothing had ever leaked before. Not very good customer service and the job took at least two days longer than it should have. more

We hired CR & J for our roofing and gutters and they were able to come and get it done within a month of receiving there estimate. We cannot thank them enough. We had hired a different company to do this previously but they never showed up to do it. We understand that everyone is super busy with all the storms lately but thank goodness CR & J was there to help us out of a difficult situation. If you need any home projects done I would suggest this company. Love our new shingles. Thanks again. more

We had them come and put new shingles and siding on our house. We were very impressed with the quality of work and materials. They had our roof completed in less than one day and the siding took about 4 days. We would recommend them to anyone. Very good company. more

Initial response was great - positive and profesional and local. Corey completed an estimate on my roof and looked over the information provided by my insurance company. He told me they were scheduled 8 weeks out and he would give me a call in 7 weeks to confirm everything and firm up exact dates. That was in July and we are now almost at the end of October. I have called Corey many, many times, left numerous messages and sent emails to the company's email address over the past few months - and received no response. I was really hoping to be able to give great reviews on a local business. CR & J is fired. I have hired someone else local, someone who has returned my calls and will show up and do the work. This other company has great ratings and did very nice, timely work on my neighbor's house and on a co-workers house. The price is more reasonable, too. I have spoke with a few people who had CR & J signs out. One person stated they put the wrong shingles on their house, numerous people said they are in a situation like mine... still waiting, left hanging. I have yet to hear something good. Looking over reviews on other sites I see the last good review was from 2010. Should have done my research first. Lesson learned. The shingles from the other company are already in my driveway, they are starting the work tomorrow (I first contacted them about the job 2 weeks ago). Glad to give them my business. Do your research. There are plenty of other great local, reliable contractors out there. more

We sent in a signed contract to have our home and garage re-shingled the end of August. I talked to Corey at that time, and we also talked to his estimator Kevin a couple days later as well. We were told they could complete our project (1 day's work) by the middle to end of October. Since the end of August, we have had no correspondence or reply to several emails and phone messages that have been left, as they never answer their phones. No indication of any work going to happen at our home or response to us, so we hired another company who gave us a quote and 3 days later are doing the work at our home for the same price as what CR&J quoted. Come to find out, my in-laws also had received a quote from CR&J this summer to have their shingling project done, and when they contacted Corey with a signed contract he never got back to them and left them hanging also. This is not how a reputable contractor treats customers and does business, I don't care how good their work might be. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT. There are plenty of other quality roofing companies in Sioux Falls who would be glad to have your business. more

I had Corey come and look at my house and give me an estimate on replacing shingles and gutters. Everything seemed on the up and up so I signed the contract and sent it in. He said they would contact me in about a month to let me know when they would be starting. After a month went by, I hadn't heard anything from him so I started calling and leaving messages on his cell phone. I continued to call at least 3 or 4 times a week for 2 months and never heard anything! I stopped by his house a few times, no one answers. I happened to come across his sister on facebook recommending them to a friend of mine, I asked her to contact him for me but she was no help. She gave me their brother's cell number who sometimes works with Corey, but he wouldn't answer either. I tried calling from different numbers and blocked numbers, still no response. After 3 months, I found a different contractor who actually answers his phone and was $4,000 cheaper. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! more
