This was my husbands favorite place to go, but I always went to a different place. He convinced me to try this place out and I was so happy with the experience. Intermittent AC (last week) worked just fine the day it arrived for checking out. C&H's electronic equipment found a relay switch not always working. Replaced the part and we are as good as new which was 160,000+ miles ago. Bring on summer. more

I received a referral from my local mechanic for a reliable mechanic in Spokane to look at a vehicle I was considering buying. They were very accommodating. I pre-authorized $300 for an inspection. They looked at the vehicle I was thinking of buying, realized how many problems it had almost immediately, and stopped the inspection. I was charged a very nominal fee. They documented everything they found (including pictures), and I was incredibly impressed. Interestingly, the salesman at the dealership where the proposed vehicle came from said that he knew the shop. He said, ""They're really expensive, but they are one of the best in town. My dad used to bring his cars there."" I told him that sometimes you had to pay for quality. It's too bad he wasn't selling a quality vehicle. more

C & H Auto Repair is competent in its service department, trustworthy, and has a very professional staff. They listen to me and try to understand my point of view, whether I got it right or not. They are tactful in their responses to my comments. None of the personnel, whether the front counter, management, or mechanics ever have negative comments or upside down faces. They really call it like it is. We have been using them for 18 years. Between my wife, children, and I, C & H Auto Repair has serviced 11 vehicles. We have older vehicles, 1988 is the oldest, and they all have a lot of mileage. In all the years we have been going, maybe one thing has gone wrong with a repair, but I can't even remember. There hasn't been any returns, and if there was a return it was because a surprise cropped up, not because of the repair. more

We have done business with C & H Auto Repair for over 30 years, and consider Ed to be a member of the family. The service is always superb. We have never had an issue with a car that left us in a lurch. Ed has evaluated new or used cars for us over that period of time, including our teenagers' cars, and we have always got terrific vehicles. We really consider C & H Auto one of the finest businesses in the region. They are extremely ethical. We have never had a doubt about the quality of service, or the value that we get for the money that we spend. We wouldn't go to anyone else. There really is a warm heart there. They are all so sweet. If there is bad news about the car Ed will tell it to us so quietly and nicely, it's almost like a funeral director. They really care about the customers. They even wash the car whenever we take it in. It really is an ethically run business. They are sensitive to the environment, and we feel good because we know their employees are well paid. They really have beautiful service. more
