Butterfly Restaurant,

We went there becasue we saw the ad in CT Magazine at it's award as best Chinese Restaurant Statewide. So we thought we would give it a try. Our Waiter Ken was very helpful getting my husband and 2 children through the extensive menu. Our drinks came out in a timely manner and we ordered Teriyaki Beef and Scallion Pancakes as apps. I ordered Scheiwan Style Toefu off their new ""Chinese"" menu. My husband ordered Chrispy Shrimp with Walnuts, my eldest son ordered Lamb Two Style and my younger son ordered General Tso's Chicken. The food was excellent, we had plenty of leftovers, and the service was great! more

As a pharmaceutical rep. I am always looking for variety, quality and convenience for my lunches. Butterfly's opens up early to prep my lunches for my office, and the food is always great! more

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is great. The service is friendly. The piano music is outstanding on weekend. The environment is very pleasant. The location and parking is super convenient. The price is absolutely reasonable. We are truly enjoyed this place. more

After reading the horrible review by a former user, my four friends and I set out to prove it wrong. We went out to eat at the Butterfly Room on Monday, March 31 2008. We went for lunch and overall had a GOOD experience! We felt the atmosphere both inside and out was nice. We were seated right away and all of out drinks came soon after. Two of my friends and I ordered water and it was refilled OFTEN. We never had to ask for refills. After odering our food, we waited only a short period of time. The food was decent and NONE of my three friends or I got sick in ANY way, shape or form!!! We had NO signs of any type of ""food related illness"". Pros: Everything Cons: Weird smell more

I agree that dining in experience at Butterfly is lacking. Most Chinese restaurants that I've been to are prompt with water refills, and will often refill your fried noodles. At Butterfly, water refills are slow and fried noodle refills are non-existent. But, they do have some of the best fried rice around. Butterfly is one of the higher priced Chinese food restaurants in the area, but the food can be worth it. Waitstaff service is lacking, but take out service is on par with most Chinese restaurants. Worst Sunday lunch ever. Food was extremely poor quality and very overpriced. Service was ok. Hostess was very rude and unhelpful. Not a kid friendly restaurant. more

Placed in a side room that was cold had to wear outer clothes. Found Service and Food average. The additional pricing not worth the experience. more
