For a great dinner out this place can't be beat. The food is really good, always consistent. The waitstaff is professional, and the prices are affordable. We eat here at least once per week and are always very satisfied. more

I went to Italia Mia because I was tired of waiting at Brickhouse for someone to acknowledge me. All I wanted was a salad! Anyway, I ended up getting an eggplant parm sandwich to-go from Italia Mia. It was one of the best I've ever had. The roll had to be the finest ingredient. The eggplant was cut a little thin, but the roll and cheese more than made up for what the eggplant was lacking. On a second visit, we decided to dine in. The place seems a little like a diner as far as atmosphere, but the food was far superior to any diner I've frequented. We ordered a margherita pizza and I cannot begin to explain how delicious it was!! Seriously, the fresh mozzarella and plum tomatoes were just perfect. The pizza crust and basil were precisely enough and not at all overpowering. I will definitely go there again. more

I tried my first pizza, and then my first grinder, from Italia Mia. My husband had a calzone. The food is absolutely delicious, the portion sizes are HUGE (the calzone is enough for 2) and the choices of toppings/ingredients are endless. Being used to New York pizza, I was expecting to be disappointed by any Connecticut pizzeria. But Italia Mia certainly DOES NOT disappoint. more
