I went to Italia Mia because I was tired of waiting at Brickhouse for someone to acknowledge me. All I wanted was a salad! Anyway, I ended up getting an eggplant parm sandwich to-go from Italia Mia. It was one of the best I've ever had. The roll had to be the finest ingredient. The eggplant was cut a little thin, but the roll and cheese more than made up for what the eggplant was lacking. On a second visit, we decided to dine in. The place seems a little like a diner as far as atmosphere, but the food was far superior to any diner I've frequented. We ordered a margherita pizza and I cannot begin to explain how delicious it was!! Seriously, the fresh mozzarella and plum tomatoes were just perfect. The pizza crust and basil were precisely enough and not at all overpowering. I will definitely go there again.
