First, my creds: My family is North Indian, and though I was never much for Indian food as a kid (maybe a result of my British-born mother's terrible cooking skills), but in the past 10 or so years, I've really grown to appreciate all kinds of Indian food, and I eat it at least once a week.
That being said, here is my review: The food at Bukhara is super tasty. I've been the the city location, and I was recently at the Yonkers location. I've only been for the lunch buffets, but both were equally yummy. There were something like 16 dishes (including 2 desserts, which is vitally important for me when eating at a buffet). They also bring us a bread basket of Naan and a masala dosa without our even asking. Sometimes they are a little over-attentive, but it sure beats being ignored. The food is delicious and "spicy" but not incredibly hot. There are usually a couple of dishes that remind me of my grandmother's cooking, which validates the authenticity of the food for me. The dessert leaves something to be desired, but to be fair, it can be pretty time-consuming to make a lot of those desserts. Costwise, the buffet is a dollar or two less in Yonkers ($9.95 weekdays/11.95 weekends), but either one is worth it.
Oh, and let's not forget: cloth napkins!
Pros: Cheap lunch buffet, food, attentive staff, location
Cons: Desserts
