Buffington Property Management

My family and I have rented from Buffington Properties for a year now. Unfortunately I lost my job and took a pay cut with my new one therefore I am relocating from the area all together. If it wasnt for that I would stay in the house until we were able to buy a property of our own. I LOVE that house and I am so sad to have to leave. From the beginning Krista was very helpful and worked around our work schedule throughout the move in process. We have had a wonderful stay and she even gave us an Awesome rental verification for our new landlords. I communicate a lot thru email and she has always responded to me quickly and helped me out by being understading when my rent payment got lost in the mail. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends looking for a place in the area. \r \r Thanks Krista for everything! more

My wife and I have rented a property from Buffington Properties for 2 years. I would continue to rent from them but my job has me moving up north. Krista has always been wonderful to my wife and I. The only time I contacted her in the 2 years of renting was if there was a repair or issue with the unit. One time, in the middle of summer, our air conditioning went out. This happened on a Friday. Krista told me she would have someone out immediately as the temperature in the house was dreadful. Not only did the guy come out same day, but he came back on Saturday to fully rectify the issue. I never had an issue with Krista responding to emails or telephone calls; she always responded in a timely manner.\r \r I would recommend Krista and Buffington Properties to any of my friends looking to rent in the greater Tampa Bay area. more

I beg to differ with some of these reviews. She helped myself, and my boyfriend, to get into a very nice place that we LOVE! We were actually considered homeless, yet, we had an income, and had looked for a place to live for two months, to no avail. This lady made it happen! Thank You Ms. Krista!!! more

This is the worst company, EVER. Do not use them, stay far away. We never received a lease during the entire time of our occupancy. We were there for almost a year when we vacated the premises due to the rodent problem and the death of my grandfather. To this day, we have not gotten the lease although we requested it five times, once verbally and four times through written communication. It took five months to do anything about the rodent. Beware; the rodent is still there by the way. She tried to blame me for the damages the rat had done and even went as far as to call me a rat, twice!!! After she knew my grandfather had passed away, she still proceeded to call me names. On top of that, she always misspelled my name and three times, she even called me by a totally wrong name. The funny thing about that is the email address that she was writing to is my name. She never responds to your emails and she presents herself in a very incompetent manner. Do not use them! It is the worst experience of my life. Now, on top of grieving for my lost loved one, I am dealing with legal matters since she is insisting that everything there is my fault. It’s not worth it, stay far away. more

Applegrandma says... Krista at Buffington Properties is a very competent and wonderful person to work with. This is the first time I have rented any property since I moved to Florida so I wasn't sure what to expect. Krista, being the professional that she is, went over all the details of my contract with me. She also encouraged me to call if something came up that I didn't understand, which I have . In my opinion, Krista has gone above and beyond what is expected of her . I would most certainly recommend her to anyone and gladly continue to work with her myself. more

Krista has been taking care of my property for around 3 years now. She has been great in finding me a quality tenant. She has always notified me and taken care of any issues that arise. Payments and paper work are taken care of and on time. I would recommend her to anyone. She is willing to take care of any task you need. I will continue to keep using her to manage my property. more

We have had Buffington Properties managing our rental property for us for over 10 years now. We recently changed our property manager to Krista Koiser. Krista has been more than professional, and has exceeded our expectations with her service. I would recomment her to anyone that I know and feel confident that she would be as professional with them as she is with us. She jumped thru hoops to get us a tenant when our proir tenant moved out and was more than helpful in recommending tradesmen to help us prepare our house for the new tenant. I have been in the office when she has taken calls and she is more than polite and helpful on the phone and has always returned our calls in a timely manner. I plan to remain a customer of Buffington's for many years to come. more

If you only get one thing out of this review, it is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Their property manager, Krista Koiser, is probably the rudest person we have ever dealt with for property services. She seldom follows through on requests, nor returns calls at all. She will frequently pass the blame to others and not admit mistakes on her part. We have worked with several property services over the years and we would rate this one a 1 out of 10. Our advise is to simply pass this one by and keep looking for another property manager. And, it's not just Krista, it's the entire staff at Buffington Properties.\r Do your self a favor and keep looking...... more

I have been dealing with Buffington Properties for many years now which is not always easy as I live abroad. Gary initially escorted me around various properties before I found the one I wanted in Cove Cay. Since then they have found me tenants and looked after my property.\r \r A couple of years ago I decided to buy another property in Cove Cay purely for family use. This time it was Krista who did the searching for me and took hundreds of pictures and reports on various properties before we settled on one. I only actually saw the property when I flew in for completion which is obviously a sign of my trust in Buffington's. I knew that this property required a lot of work and Krista organised the various people for me bringing the property up to an excellent standard. \r \r Buffington's remain my agents and are still looking after both the tenants and the property. Pros: Friendly staff who will often go that extra mile for you. more

Spoke with Krista Kosier who was very rude regarding a rental on Indian Rocks Beach. Refused to show the house to me over weekend and then tried to see it earlier on Monday and never returned my call. To anyone out there needing a mgmt co., I suggest you do not use Buffington Property Management. I would not want to pay this company to treat potential renters badly.
