A fantastic experience 6/20/2014

Budget Transmission Center is wonderful. They were informative about the situation and were able to complete the repair very quickly. They replaced my car's timing belt and water pump for a very reasonable price. Sammy was super helpful, professional, and friendly. This was my first time using them and I'd recommend them highly. more

Affordable and courteous service 6/18/2014

Sammy was very patient and helpful when I brought my car to Budget Transmission Center. My transmission was making a funny noise and so he inspected it very thoroughly and told me what my options were. He was very polite and didn't try to upsell me. The repair was reasonably priced and I haven't had any issues with my transmission since. I'd definitely recommend them. more

They delivered on everything! 6/12/2014

I had a very good experience with Budget Transmission Center. This was my first time using them. I did not go to them right off the bat. I have an old car with over 300,000 miles on it with a faulty transmission. I was trying to decided if I should fix it or just scrap the car. I emailed a few places requesting an estimate. Their response was the most logical. They also found something that I was not aware of. There was belt tension and it was badly wore. I had them replace it. I am definitely going to use them again. I have a friend who is on the board of the corvette club. I told him how great they were and he is planning on using them too. more

It was excellent! 4/17/2014

I first used Budget Transmission Center about 6 or 7 years ago. They were recommended to me by another car repair garage in Connecticut since I needed to get my transmission worked on. They completely refurbished the transmission on my '95 Toyota Camry. It went very well. The prices were reasonable and it was all on schedule with no problems. They are always friendly and always helpful. Contact them! I know they're going to be very helpful. They give you some suggestions and helpful hints. I would definitely recommend them for someone looking for transmission work! more

Budget Transmission Center really went through the car very thoroughly. It took longer than I wanted it to, but that was understandable considering the circumstances. They had to order parts for an older vehicle. They provided great customer service. more

Everything went smoothly 4/7/2014

Budget Transmission Center got the job done well. I brought in my car and they were able to find the problem pretty quickly. Sammy is very professional, experienced, and nice. They overhauled my transmission and I'm very pleased with the results. The price was right and I haven't had any problems with the repair at all. I'd recommend them highly. more

It was the first time I ever went to Budget Transmission Center. I had some trouble and I prayed about it and I believe God led me to them. They did the job once and I didn't have to go back. I had great customer service, they fixed my car perfect and I would recommend them to anybody. To the owners I say thank you so much, they're awesome! more

A good experience 3/28/2014

I had an engine replaced with in my car with Budget Transmission Center, but it's not running properly. They have good personalities and are nice, so I would go back. They're going to repair what they didn't fix, hopefully for free. Other than not fixing the censors on my engine, they're good. more

Took care of my transmission, and now it works perfectly. 12/6/2013

The transmission on my Chevy Silverado was not doing well, so I took my truck to Budget Transmission Center. I knew about them from when they were at their previous location. They were already famous, and I always saw their signs. They were pretty quick to accommodate my visit. They checked the transmission and found the problem to be in the 3rd and 4th gear. They fixed it, and now it works perfectly. I am not experiencing any problems anymore. Overall, it was a good experience. They treated me right. It's a nice business. more

Honest mechanics, decent work, and fair prices. 12/4/2013

I have been going to Budget Transmission Center for maybe ten years now. I don't use them all the time because they are a bit out of my way, but I find that when I do go to them for service, they do decent work. I recently took my Mustang to them because my transmission was leaking. At first, they didn't know what was causing the leak, so it did take them a little while to find it. When everything was all fixed, I was happy with the work they did. They were very honest and straight forward with me the whole time, which I appreciated. I would recommend Budget Transmission Center because they are honest, they do decent work, and their prices are fair. more

If I need work done, this is where I'm going. 10/16/2013

I'm a haggler, so I called about seven different companies. Budget Transmission Center came in at the lowest price. On top of that, when I got there, they actually knocked off a half hour of labor. It all came in even lower than the first quote. I've been telling everybody about them. Budget is the place to go. more

They're thorough and will do the job right. 10/15/2013

Budget Transmission Center fixes the car and they fix it right. I've taken eight or so cars there. I have a lot of old cars they've worked on: transmissions, engine lights, mufflers, and all sorts of other stuff. They don't take short cuts and they give you good customer service. I'll have a car not riding right, where the wheel keeps falling off, and take it to another service station. They'll always check the nuts and not really solve the problem at all. The first time I take it to Budget Transmission Center, they'll fix the bars and I'll never have problems again. more

Good customer service. 10/11/2013

Budget Transmission Center gave me a reasonable estimate and a reasonable price. They gave me a ride home as well, which I appreciate. The only issue I had was not with the service or anything; it was just that it took longer than expected. The vehicle was tied up for a full day. They were replacing a cylinder on the clutch. I had worked with them in the past and knew I could count on their service and their professionalism. more

I'm not satisfied with the service at all. Very dishonest. 10/10/2013

I went to Budget Transmission Center on a Wednesday. They checked it out on that Wednesday, then didn't tell me anything until the next week. They told me it would be around $600. I said that was alright. I waited a few days, and they said they needed to do more things to my car, so it would cost $2,700 in total. I said, "No, that's impossible". They had just told me it would be only $600! After that, I waited another couple of weeks to call and ask what was going on. They told me they were working on it, but I went there to look and saw that nobody had even touched it. They had told me it would take just a few days to fix the transmission. Everything ended up taking almost four WEEKS. Once I did get it back, the transmission still had a leak in it. I'll tell people to go somewhere else, not here. more

Understanding, friendly, delivered everything I asked for 8/22/2013

I first learned of Budget Transmission Center online, and I am very happy with the service. Pick-up and delivery is included with the service, so even though I'm a little far from them, they still make it very convenient for me. I called them because I needed a new belt and water pump, but they also fixed other things that needed to be done with my car. I let them know that I was going through certain changes with my car, and they were very understanding and delivered everything I needed. They also have a warranty on their services. They worked promptly, and I didn't have to wait long at all. Staff is very friendly, and I will continue using them. Overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend their services to anyone. more

This has not been a good experience at all. 8/14/2013

With Budget Transmission Center, I have had to take the car back several times to have repairs completed. One of these times was because a part wasn't available. I don't think anybody even looks at the car until the afternoon, so whatever time I expect to have it returned to me is postponed. It hasn't been a good experience at all. I have been very disappointed. I took my car there 8 or 9 years ago, and it was all fine; however, things have changed so much that I wouldn't recommend going there. RESPONSE FROM Budget Transmission Center: I am very sorry that you feel that way. It is not like us to have these many issues with any car. I value you as a customer and will do what ever we can to make it up to you. Again I am sorry I will work on what's going on to repair our scheduling issues and our time frame so that we don't disappoint you or anyone else. Skilled workers, but bad scheduling habits. 8/13/2013

This was my third time getting work done at Budget Transmission Center. I am satisfied with the work they do. The only problem I have is the amount of time it takes. For a person who needs their car to get back and forth and to transport themselves around, it's hard when you bring it in on Monday and don't get it back until Friday! They give me a date to bring it in, but then don't tell me when it'll be back. The scheduling is pretty poor. Other than that, they are courteous and really do alright with the work itself. RESPONSE FROM Budget Transmission Center: I am very sorry that you feel that way. It is not like us to have these many issues with any car. I value you as a customer and will do what ever we can to make it up to you.
