Bucks County Carpet & Floor

I just got a really good deal at this place. My room was small, and Home Depot & lowes wanted almost $100 extra to do the room on top of the cost of the carpet and pad. I went to this place and got the whole thing done for $200 less than the cheapest price I had gotten elsewhere. The carpet went in really quick, too. It looks great! more

The installers did a great job. My wife was worried that they would damage the baseboard heat or block it by curling the rug under the enclosure since this was how the carpet was installed before we bought our house and it irritated him. Without me even mentioning it. They installed it correctly and were very cautious with our newly painted walls. We were very impressed! more

I will start off by saying that we just made settlement on a Friday. Monday we were having a huge job with carpet throughout the entire house and hardwood put into our dining room and foyer. We were told it would be a 3 day job. Day 1 there were some problems which we were not told about, as I had to find them myself. A ceiling fan blade was broken which I assume a worker was being lazy and threw the old carpet out the 2nd floor loft window down to the first floor. They knocked a wire shelf down in a hallway closet and did not attempt to fix it. Day 2 was actually a good day for the workers. Started laying the hardwood and fixed the necessary items from day 1. Day 3 they were supposed to be done. They were working at my house until about 8:00 pm and still have not even started the quarter round on the hardwood. We noticed that a heating vent was entirely covered by carpet so that still needs to be fixed. There is a small gap by our stairs in the hardwood which needs to be fixed. The workers told us they would be back the next day. Day 4 rolls around and we call Bucks County Carpets to see what time they are going to come and finish. The person we spoke to says she thought the job was completed. Lastly they left our entire house a mess with the hardwood scraps and boxes. I took pictures to show and then cleaned up myself afterwards. This is still an ongoing issue so I hope this is rectified soon and something is done for us. We put out a lot of money and expect things to be perfect for as much as we have spent at this place. more

From start to finish, this was an easy process. We picked it out, the woman at the store helped with everything, we scheduled the measure, we scheduled the install & it was done. Everyone we dealt with was friendly & knowledgeable. I would definitely go to Bucks County Carpet and Floor again. more

The install was flawless, they came in, ripped out all the carpet in the upstairs, moved furniture and laid carpet for the living room, hall, 13 stairs to the basement and 2 bedrooms. They are definitely the best and I will not hesitate to refer them to anyone!! more

I hope by my review I can reach out to people and not have them go through the same unpleasant and unprofessional ordeal I had to go through. I simply wanted a couple of floors installed and carpets and from day one was a fiasco. I also had to call the police on the owner Mike. He would not even stay and wait for the police to arrive. This project took over two months to complete and still is not satisfactory They also ruined my existing floor and had to repair. I am a professional in the health field and would never treat a patient or anybody as I have been treated. People need to be treated with respect. I would strongly advise you to shop around as there are so many carpet and flooring companies in the area. I could go on and on with all the problems I encountered but will stop here. I hope my review helps someone choose more wisely than I did. I believe and was always taught to do the job right the first time so you do not have to come back and redo. RESPONSE FROM Bucks County Carpet and Floor: We would like to provide any customer reading this with our side of the story. We were initially hired to provide new carpet and flooring to Laura and Barbara. We went out, measured, gave them a fair price and they placed their order. Their installation was scheduled to take place over multiple days and weeks because it was a large job, and also to coincide with other work that they were having done in their home. On the first day of installation one of our installers had a small accident, and unfortunately scratched their existing wood foyer. We immediately accepted responsibility for this scratch and informed Laura and Barb that we would make sure their floor was repaired. That week we completed the first half of their flooring job. We discussed several possible solutions for taking care of the issue with the scratched foyer and came to an agreement that we would have the floor refinished for them by an expert. (We do not provide refinishing services ourselves) We had a couple estimates for the repair work, and ended up hiring a gentleman that was more expensive than the other estimates because after Laura and Barb met with him at the home they comfortable with his assessment of the work that needed to be done and confident in his ability to repair their foyer, as were we. During this time of debating and arranging the solution to the foyer issue we did not feel comfortable leaving our supplies and uninstalled flooring in the home, as we were responsible for it and it's proper installation according to our contract. We took the supplies and flooring back to our storage facility. At that time, apparently Laura felt that she needed to call the police, although during the entire job we never denied any responsibility for the damage to her foyer, never said anything other than that we would make sure to resolve the issue for the ladies and complete our contracted work. We were not there for the arrival of the police and were also never contacted by the police. We are not sure exactly why the police were called, and since they never contacted us apparently there was no reason for them to have been summoned anyway. We did go complete the installation of her carpet and flooring, and the refinisher came out and completed the refinishing of the scratched foyer. His work is beautiful, and he actually ended up having to do less work to repair the floor than he originally thought he would when we hired him. This apparently was not to the liking of Barb and Laura, even though the refinished floor is now in better shape than it was when we originally were hired. In addition to this, the refinisher also made them aware of a moisture issue that they have at their front door that they might never even have been aware of without this having happened. We feel that we have done everything possible to try to make these ladies happy, and make this situation right, but unfortunately there was a delay in finishing their job. We are sorry that they are still angry with us, and of course we do not like our customers to be unhappy, but again, we feel that we have done everything humanly possible to try to make them happy. In any event, they now have a beautiful hardwood floor that we installed in their dining room an family room and lovely carpet in the living room, hall and steps, AND a refinished foyer that should provide them years and years of beauty and service. more

Bucks County Carpet & Floor was pleasant to deal with. They offered advice on appropriate products for what I needed, which was carpeting for the basement. The installers were fabulous. I had a pool table down there and they were able to remove the old carpet and install the new one with it my having to move it. They came here and did the job, didn't ask me for anything the whole time, and then left. They were terrific. I was very happy and had no problems.It was a good experience and I've already recommended them to friends. more

The installers did an absolutely flawless job, they were extremely fast and efficient. They were on time, took no breaks and finished a huge job in a very short period of time. They tolerated our pets and our children running around and asking 10,000 questions. Really the best installers I've ever met. If i ever have any type of flooring job ever again Bucks County Carpet & Floor will be the ones to do it!!! more

My mom had passed away and my sister and I had to get the house ready for sale. We really needed to just get something cheap and clean in the house because she was a smoker and she had cats so the house was very smelly. We had Empire out first and they wanted $6,000 to do the job. We really don't have that to spend, and it sounded really high so we called a couple other companies. This place had the lowest price out of all of them. Just over $2,000 and it looks GREAT! Now, just hope it sells quick! more

I got a stair runner from Bucks County Carpet previously, and I recently got two new area rugs. They are just gorgeous. The stair runner goes all the way from my entryway to my third floor in one continuous rug. It looks like a ribbon going up my first set of steps, around my hallway, p my next set of steps, and then over my landings as well. Thanks so much! more

I went to this place, and told them right away I was on a limited budget. I gave them the measurements I had taken, and they showed me a lot of stuff in my price range. When they came out to measure, the price was actually LESS than I had heard at the store. Nice to actually get an honest estimate! The carpet is in now, and it looks great. more

I got carpet for my basement recently. It was great, after I picked out some samples to see at the house it was actually LESS MONEY than what they thought it would be at the store. Nice to get an honest estimate. The carpet looks great, too! more

my basement flooded and since I had gotten carpet from Bucks County Carpet before I called them about it. They came out the next day and ripped all my wet carpet out. Then they installed my new carpet for me as soon as I was done re-painting. I was so glad I didn't have to live with that smelly wet carpet at all. more

It looks great and they got it in really quick. My moving truck comes Monday, and the carpet is done! more

Think twice before buying here. Accidents happen, they damaged our window trim and sheetrock. My wife wanted to make a partial payment until I could see the damage. Owner came over and started ripping carpet out. My wife was so intimated by his aggressive action she had to call the police. I would give a - feedback but system requires at least 1 star Thank God I was not home at that time. more

i got carpet for my den. it's so soft, my dog sonny rolls around in it. i'd probably do it too if i could. good people and fast good installation. they vaccumed after they were done. my friend recommended them to me,and i'm recommending them to you..randy ,philadelphia more
